I have a horrible cold right now! I'm 26 weeks pregnant, and I'm not sure if the Afrin I've been taking is safe. Has anyone else taken this? I only take it at nighttime so that I can sleep...I'm having the hardest time sleeping without it!! Does anyone know? Is Afrin safe? Should I do something else? I plan on calling my OB but for the time being, I don't want to do anything that will harm the baby.

My 5 year old is definitely testing the waters. I am a firm disciplinarian, but my husband, not so much. How can I get consistency in his discipline when he just doesn't listen to directions from almost any adult? His teacher too?

My Grandmother is constantly putting her two sense in where my children are concerned. When I try to discipline them she will argue with myself or my husband in front of the children and completely undermind us. I can't raise my children the way I need to when she keeps underminding me in front of my children. They end up not respecting me and they won't listen to anything I say. It's obvious my Grandmother doesn't even respect me since she continues to do this no matter how much I ask her not to. I yelled at her this morning for it because I am tired of it. It has to stop! I don't want her advice. She raised losers. My mother hates me because I look like my father. She disowned me and called me a beaner when I was growing up. She also beat me. I have an uncle that molested me and another one that is a druggie and alcoholic. The only thing that saved my other uncle was the military. He was always in jail. I have another uncle and an aunt and they are both weird. She raised these people

I'm about 30 weeks now and sometimes when I feel my baby move the right part of my tummy gets bigger. It's like a bulg and gets harder...stays there for 3 seconds then goes back to normal. This happens like 4 or 5 times a day. Has this happened to anyone else before? Does it sound normal to you? Share your experience.

A friend of mine is letting her son be a woman. She says it was his idea. She will be applying makeup to him in addition to a wig and a dress. Is this odd? I think so, but I'd like to hear some input. Maybe I'm wrong. He does like to play with traditional "boy" things like cars and airplanes, and he likes sports, though he's not very good at playing them.

I am expecting my son in March. My daughter will be 23 months old when he is born. I was wondering if it would be wrong to have another shower for my son. I don't need major baby items like bottles, car set, bouncher, highchair things like that. Just blue things. The baby is a dinferent sex and I need boy clothes and toys, and some nursery stuff. We don't have alot of money so would it be so wrong to have a shower with very close friends and family? I don't want seem rude or greedy, but it would help us out a lot!!!

My son is 7 1/2 months old, he was to the dr. the last week of sept for a double ear infection. He was given zithromax and a decongestant. Two 1/2 weeks later we were back again, and he had another. Again zithromax was given. LAst Tuesday we were bcak and one ear is still pink. We were told to finish zithromax, he was given a steriod, as well as Zyrtec in case of zllergies causing the fluid. I am very careful when bathing, do not prop bottles, his head is always inclined when my husband or I feed him, and my mother is his sitter and is even more cautious (we are pretty protective to say the least of the kids:)hehe) and it has just been a battle. the past 2 nights, he has been up every 1/2 hour or so, cranky during the day, not napping, and pulling and batting at his ears again. Any adivce? Tomorrow I am going to a new pediatrician, maybe asking for ENT referral if it is still ears, and also making a chiropractor appt, as it helped for his reflux as a newborn. Any advice until then? :)

How ever many weeks I am Ihave no idea.
But I am on my third child.
Mybreast hurt so bad that I can not stnad it. I know they are suppost to hurt but they hurt so bad that I want to cry. Is this normal. Are they any suggestions that might relieve the pain at all?

Last week i was nausated all week every smell makes me nausated specially cooking food makes me wanna vomit...i took a test before i started taking vitex friday i took a test saturday morning because everyone kept saying i was pregnant..and i thought i really was too specially since ive been so moody...well anyways now my boobs are really sore..and i was just wondering if anyone else had experinced this when taking vitex or anything? cause they really hurt...!! thanks!

She told me she was pregnant thats when everything in our relationship changed for the worse! Everything is bad, we fight, i dont trust her, and we seem to be constatly at each others throats... I woke up on the wronge side of the bed today and we fought... i helped pack all her stuff and she was on her way. She says she still wants to be with me and raise the child together but doesnt want to live with me anymore untill further notice... i am really hurt now knowing i can not touch her stomach or confort her and bring her things she needs and tend to her every need...i want to know if i feel like our love is not there any more should i just work at it and give into my feelings of doubt for the babies sake?? we tried soy based with no milk it makes him vomit a lot, very gassy, and fussy, while the milk based makes him very very fussy, very gassy and he has diarrea now his pediatrican wants to switch him back to milk based which hes allergic to. he was on soy based for about 3 days. and the milk for 2 weeks .
