PLEASE try and not worry, I know that's easier said than done. This is my first too, and at the beginning I was wondering when I'd feel sick, sore breasts etc. I did get sick like you too, but it did go away also. That's normal, most women with nausea only experience it for the first couple of months. You're in your second trimester, and pretty much out of the clear now!! You aren't spotting or cramping, and that's good! If you're having food aversions and were experiencing morning sickness in the beginning that's probably why you haven't gained any weight, which is fine. I didn't the first trimester, I lost a few pounds too. Just trust your doctor that everything's ok, and ask A LOT of questions at your appts. to put your mind at ease. RELAX, take a deep breath, and try to enjoy the miracle you're growing inside of you that's safe and sound and happy!!!! You're just lucky and everything sounds fine. Congratulations and have a wonderful pregnancy!!!!

It sounds like everything is probably ok. If it eases your mind some, call the Dr. and see if you can stop by just to have the nurse check for a heartbeat, or even the Dr. if he/she has time. In my experience (which, admittedly, is limited) many women experience this fear for this reason: You've just come out of your first trimester, where you may have been extremely tired all the time, vomited, started noticing all the smells which probably nauseated you a little more, etc. See, first trimester is the time when our body is getting used to carrying this little "alien", so we end up with all these crappy symptoms that are very noticeable. Well when we graduate to second trimester, our body calms down, and we feel pretty darn good. Life almost feels back to normal, but in turn, it can cause you to feel like something's wrong because everything is TOO normal, you don't really feel pregnant anymore. So, in conclusion, go get checked if it will ease your mind, but keep in mind that this is probably going to be the best and easiest part of your pregnancy, so enjoy it, and let everyone pamper you and fawn over you while you can, because those next 24 weeks are going to fly by! Congrats and good luck!

I know how you are feeling, I'm 16 weeks pregnant, and now I'm almost forgetting that I'm pregnant. I was SOOO sick until last week. Now I'm feeling really good and I feel like I'm not pregnant (other than a spliting headache.) I haven't gained any weight since I lost a ton of weight from the morning sickness and I can't feel the baby either. My only feelings are my uterus expanding so I'll have shart pains every once in awhile. If you are concerned, call your doctor, but I'm sure everything is fine. Pretty soon you will feel your little one kicking you and your mind will be relieved because you will know it's healthy as can be in there. If you had a miscarriage now, you would definately know it, the baby is about 5 inches. The morning sickness was a sign that your baby was healthy, but it's not gone because the baby isn't healthy, but because it is now starting to rely on it's on hormones instead of yours. I'm also craving all sorts of foods (I think it's because I can actually eat now...)

Embrace it!!! Pretty soon you'll start showing and get so big you can't breathe, your baby will be wiggling around like crazy (which is actually wonderful), but sometimes it hurts (just wait until that baby kicks so hard you think a foot is going to fly out your butt)! You won't be sleeping, you'll barely be able to eat because you stomach is smushed up into your ribs. Your back will hurt and you'll need a belly band to help relieve the pressure from your belly. You'll start having a hard time walking for fear the baby could drop out at any moment.
You're in the 2nd trimester...the easiest of the 3 for most women. Before long you'll start feeling movement in the form of little flutters and being that it's your first, you won't show for a while. It's perfectly normal to be nervous, especially with your first...and that's ok...but stressing over it isn't good for you or the baby. Hang in there. Relax, take care of yourself and your baby. And if you can't seem to relax, call the dr and see if you can stop by to hear the heartbeat. Take care and congrats on your new baby!!!

Awe, You sound like me with both my pregnancies. I think it is perfectly normal to not feel pregnant. Ther is this weird "limbo" time in your second trimester where there isn't to anything outta wack and yes, it can make you worry. If it would make you more comfortable call your dr and see if you can stop by just for the nurse to check the baby's heart rate to make yourself feel better. some would say be gratefull that you are not still sick or whatever but I do understand this could be nerve racking. Soon you will wish for those days where you didn't fell pregnant. When your baby is kicking your ribs, you can't breath, can't sleep. heartburn makes you eat a bottle of tums in 2 days and your feet are swelling. Good luck and congrats!

Ya know what I felt the same exact way. I actually took like 3 home pregnancy tests in my 2nd trimester just to make sure I was still pregnant. But really your second trimester is a breeze...just enjoy it! Your not sick anymore and you arent tired all the time anymore! Soon you will feel that baby move and it will all become REAL!

I know exactly how you are feeling! At 16 weeks I had no real symptoms of being pregnant, I worried that they would not find a heartbeat at my appointments and everything! Just consider yourself lucky because some women experience pain, and discomfort throughout their pregnancy. I felt my baby move first at 17 weeks, but only about once every couple of days. Don't worry, everything is okay.... I think it is just the fact that you can't feel or see your baby move so it seems surreal... Good luck!!!

This is usually the time when you can actually sit back and enjoy your pregnancy. As long as your not bleeding or cramping, the baby is fine. Make sure you enjoy NOT having morning sickness, and don't spend to much time worrying about everything, it will take away from this special time.

I had this same uneasy feeling that something was wrong. Once I felt my baby move, any time I didn't feel it move I kept thinking to myself "Oh my gosh, is she still in there!?"
Most of it is typical first-time mom paranoia. Just breathe deeply and rest assured that everything is A-okay. If something was wrong with your baby or you, then you would be feeling cramping and bleeding.
Congratulations on your baby and try not to stress, it's bad for you and the baby! :)
