she wasnt raped and i would never ever kill someone and we went to the doctor just a little bit ago and she is definetly pregnant

First off I would like to say that I think it is terrible for what some of the people here have written. There are a few good answers here and they deserve credit.
I know it is possible for a ten year old to be pregnant. You hear it all the time in the news.
As far as what kind of a mother you are. I don't know you and neither does anyone else here. It is unfair and cruel for them to pass judgment on you. I am not going to do that.
I am 23 and I have no children of my own. My cats are my children. No. I'm not crazy. It has been five years and I am still without child. But that's ok. Probably for the best anyways.
If I did have a daughter and she was a teen and had gotten pregnant, well I'd be devastated at first. Shocked and stunned. I would be sad for her too. It is a kid having a kid and she shouldn't have to worry about diapers and baby sitters. She should be doing kid stuff.
You should be supportive. Let her know that you still love her and you are there for her. That you and her will get through the next 18 years and she can still have a life. Sure. It will be different than that of a teen that doesn't have the responsibilities of having a child. And a mother that doens't have a kid that is having a kid. But you must make the most of it and be optimistic.
My best wishes to you and your family. Don't lose heart. Keep your chin up and look forward. A child is a miracle and a blessing in ones life.

WHAT THE **** IS A 10 YO DOING HAVING SEX IN THE FIRST PLACE? If you are her mother than you definitely failed her as a parent by not explaining to her the birds and the bees and for not keeping tabs on her.At 10 years old she shouldn't be in places that would get her in that position and especially without you knowing it no less. Where were you when this was happening?!!!?!!! Anyway you need to put that child up for adoption because I can't fathom that a 10yo having an abortion is a good thing or a safe thing for that matter. Then she needs a good *** kicking by you even though I do not advocate spanking , she is one of the few I would make an Exception for , then you need to send her *** to a convent until she is going through menopause, so that this horrible travesty never ever happens again. And I suggest that you spend Alot more time worrying about your kids and less time doing whatever it is you are doing, because I do know that whatever it is , It sure as hell is not parenting

First of all, what kind of decent man would have sexual intercourse with a 10 year old girl?
Second of all, you need to find out how she got pregnant, with who, and get her tested immediately for any STD's that she may have picked up.
And third, you need to talk to her and the doctor seriously about all of the alternatives for the pregnancy and the risks that are posed to her since she is only 10 years old and would be classified as a high risk pregnancy.
You need to keep a closer eye on your daughter. She should not have gotten pregnant at 10 years old/

If my 10 year old daughter came home and told me that she was pregnant, depending on the circumstances would depend on my reaction... If the child was raped then I wouldn't be angry, if the child did it on her own free will we would deal with what was to come whether or not it would end in her having the child or having an abortion. I would more then likely explain to her how much PAIN a 10 year old child would go through in labor or she would more then likely get scared and opt not to have the child anyways. NO 10 year old can take care of a child at that age... It is the BIGGEST responsibility in the whole world that no 10 year old little girl could handle and more EXCRUTIATING pain it is to have a child... I would talk to my daughter and tell her it wouldn't be a wise idea to have a child at 10 years old....

Unfortunately, There is NOTHING you can do!
The question is: If she was not raped (thank God), Where did it happen, where a mother of a ten year-old daughter was not aware of her daughter's surroundings?
Who's fault is it? I blame you!!!! You should have taught your daughter
R-E-S-P-E-C-T and about the birds and the bees...You and your daughter have many trials ahead...
Imagine this: Your daughter will be 28 when her child graduates(if her child does NOT make the same choice as her!)...hopefully...she teaches her child all the things YOU never taught her!
It's NEVER too late to start teaching your daughter what she REALLY needs to know!

contrary to what a lot of people have said, it IS possible to be pregnant at 10. in fact, the youngest ever mother-to-be was a mere 6 years old!!! girls are beginning menstruation earlier and earlier these days.
if my daughter said that to me, i would be totally freaking out, wondering who got to her, ringing the police, talking to her, the works. honestly, i don't know what the hell i'd do, as i am against abortion, the only exception being it a neccesity for the health of the mother. which, now that i think about it, would probably be the best course of action for a 10 year old, i would never make someone that young carry a child, it's way too much for her body.

Dont react harshly She is going to be frightened Talk to her sak if she has thoght about what she wants to do if not sure take her to Dr to explain her options and get comfirmation She could also have hysterical Pregnancy which is when her periods stop through fear from haveing had intercourse I know I think she is too young to have a child but You dont have much choice now so being there to give support and find answers for her is the best thing

I would get you to go to the doctors and find out for sure.
No matter what if you were my daughter I would still love you and get through this with you no matter what happened. There are worst things out there that can happen than an unplanned preganancy. It should be a happy time as a baby is a beautiful gift.

I would go to a doctor and explore the different options. 10 is a very young age to be a parent. It would be left to the 10 year olds parents to take care of that baby.
