its best if you can sleep with your head towards the east, as the east is supposed to be a place with wisdom.. so sleeping with your head in that direction is supposed to make you wise. at all costs avoid sleeping with you head towards the north or the west! south is ok, and so is north-east. sleep with a low pillow, or no pillow at all. never sleep with high pillows as it does not allow the blood to circulate into your head! all the best and have a great beauty sleep!! ;-))

In the Eastward direction if you are in the Northern Hemisphere and in the Westward direction if you are South of the Equator. The Southern Hemisphere has a larger Water Mass and the Earth's spin impact is more there. If year round bright ventilation is assured to the Bedrooms Sleeping in North South Direction is permissible. Don;t adopt angular positions.

As long as the baby is on it's back, it doesn't matter. If the baby sleeps on his/her stomach, they often end up face down, and can't lift their heads up enough, or don't, and suffocate.

Good question.....there is still controversy over this subject..........Really it does not matter which side, as long as the baby is NOT flat on his/her back.......use a blanket folded up to prop behind the baby's back to ensure they sleep on their side....Good Luck!

I think that the healthiest position is to sit with your entire body, straight,on the back(a total vertical position).
