I remember spotting after have sex while pregnant, but I wouldn't call it bleeding. If she is, I would have her call her Dr.s office, she can even speak to his nurse practioner.

It can. Some women are prone to what is called cervical erosion and sex during pregnancy can aggrevate it. You won't know if your wife has it until it happens and it can be very frightening for the woman as she doesn't know where the blood is coming from. Take it gently and don't use any deep thrusting positions. Let her be in control. You may find, if your wife is susceptible, that using a condom helps prevent the bleeding as it can also be a reaction to sperm.

Yes it can, although ive only had this happen to me once so far during this pregnancy. Your cervix becomes very sensitive and as a result you may have some light bleeding after intercourse. Always remember though, it doesnt hurt to double check with your doctor as all bleeding should be monitored.

No, sex should not cause bleeding during pregnancy.(Spotting maybe, but not bleeding) As a mother, I had sex throughout all of my pregnancies. If your wife is experiencing bleeding she needs to go to her gyn, because bleeding could be a sign of a miscarriage or infection. Wish you both the best.

YES it can because the vaginal walls and cervix are swollen and there are little capillaries down there that can break with friction (ie: sex), which can cause bleeding. I know this because it happened to me and I thought I was miscarrying, only to find out that the baby was fine (since she is now laying in my arms at 3mos old), but it was caused by the friction of sex. Hopefully that eases her mind, but she should also bring this up to her doctor.

We had similar concerns but were assured by our doctor that if you are careful, then it is OK. If it feels uncomfortable, think about some other way of pleasuring eachother. Remember that everything moves and is squished during the later stages of pregnancy so it could be quite uncomfortable for either or both of you.

Try some gentle activities and work up to it slowly is my advice.

I have three kids and had sex up until the day I went into hospital it's no harm. Yes it can causes bleeding not from the baby but from the presser. Go ahead have fun because when the baby comes you be lucky if you get any.

Yes it can and its often referred to as a post coital bleed. Having said that any bleeding in pregnancy is not normal and should be checked out.
