Congratulations on your kids, I think you should wait until your last baby's first birthday at leased, I'm not sure about how long you should wait after a C-section as I have never had a C-section, but I do think you should enjoy your baby before having to focus on another pregnancy, wait till bub is walking so its easier on you. I understand why you want your children close as I wanted my close to, My son is 22 months older then my daughter and my daughter will be 26 months older then this baby. I found 22 months was a perfect age, I fell pregnant pretty much on my son's 1st birthday. Obviously it can be done having a c-section one after the other as look at Britney Spears, both her boys were via C-section and only 12 months between them.

Give yourself some calm time so you don't feel overloaded running around after 2 baby's and a toddler. Good luck.

I highly recommend waiting as long as you possibly can before having another baby. My reasoning is that the addition of a third child in the preschool ages will likely wear you out! Plus having a third c-section will be hard on your body! Any doctor would recommend that you wait a minimum of two years, in order to give your body a rest, especially when you now have a 5 month old and a 2.5 year old.

Good luck!

no you dont have to wait a certain amount of time. my step mum got pregnant almost staright after having her first child by c-section. keeping you childrens ages close is a great thing to do. you will find that they will be interested in more things that are the same and they will be able to play together. like me i got my younger sister when i was 11 and it was large gap between us and we don't have alot in common. i know people that have either a brother or sister that is either a year older or younger and they get along really well. go for it.

you can start now if u like. you have already waited 5months and then baby will be another 9 months . that will total 14 months. the length that u should wait is after u heal from your c section or atleast after your 6 week visit with the doctor.

I think that if you are patient with kids and are able to take proper care of the 2 kids that you have now and feel that you would be able to take care of 1 more you should probably wait a few months at least.I also have a 2 yr. old and a 7 mo. old but I am impatient and I don't think that I would give each one enough attention if I had one more.

i have never heard of that, the part about you only being able to have 3 s-sections. i think tht is a crock. if you think the time is right now then i would say go for it but it was always easier and less expensive when when you wait. especially when it comes to diapers and wipes and formula, if your baby eats that. if you think you could handle 2 babaies then i would say knock yourself out, you have a lot more guts and patients than i do, hope this helps, holly

let your 5 month old baby reach about one and a half more years in age. so the gap among their age arent that far and also you still have time for rest and be prepared for your next baby. my older sister have her babies very close in time and she really finds it hard taking care of them especially that she even go to work..

You can certainly go for it now. Besides, it will be 9 months til the baby is born, giving that extra time scale...
