I was just looking on the web and came upon some info on Constitutional Growth delay, I was wondering if anyone has any growth problems with their children too? My daughter is 6 and she is almost as tall as my 8 yr old, plus my son has yet to lose his front teeth(they are finally loose) So, my question is, can it be he is a slow starter or something more? (The growth chart since birth says he's been a steady 10 %)Please help,Thanks

cps gave 3 kids to an admitted convicted child abuser, the man was charged with and convicted for child endangerment and he is on probation for beating his kid! beating a kid is a violent assault, and child endangerment is having a kid in a dangerous place! kids are our future and they deserve the best and nothing is more vauable then a childs life! cps workers just want to keep a job and a paycheck and thats why tx and ia cps workers recommend that a child abuser gets to keep the 3 kids, so that they can continue services! he is on probation for beating child #1, child #2 is being med. neglected and cps officers refuse to file or investigate it, and doctors and school records are proof of the neglect! what i want to know is what are the chances of child #3 getting hurt?

She had fever next day while sleeping she started screaming that her mom is killing her and her friends. next day she tells dogs are in the house and she is scared to sleep alone now. I have an 8 year old daughter who is in 2nd grade. She is having a problem with a boy who is also in 2nd grade. This little boy has thrown her against the wall and tried to kiss her. He told her he was going to have sex with her and today he has started grabbing her butt. The school principle doesnt think it is sexual harrassment because of his age. She thinks that he has a crush on her. I feel completely different. I think it is harrassment and the school doesnt want to deal with it. I have talked to others and have heard both sides taken.Just wanted to hear from someone that does not know either child. If it is harrassment how should I follow through, Because the principle is not going to so anything Thanksfor any help.

Im 15 and my friend is 14. She is a goth. She is throwining a pity party for herself saying she has no friends because of something that happened about Halloween. It is so not true during lunch we are surrounded by friends, having good times and laughing she defintly has friends. She also keeps calling herself fat because she is overweight ( not badly) and calls her self ugly. She isn't ugly at all. People tell her this all the time that shes not ugly. She thinks shes worthless because she doesn't have a bf and hasn't in a year or two. How do I make her snap out of this and show her she is not ugly, fat and does have friends. My sister n law is due June 6th and we are not sure if she is having a boy or a girl but she always waits till the last minute to find a name. The only thing that she looks for is as long as it is three syllables long. So if you have any ideas on names please let me know we are looking for girl names and boy names so that she has both ready when she finds out what she is having. ok so my friend is anorexic and i think bulemic i kno this because she almost never eats and when i ask her y not she just gets mad and i think she is bulemic cause one time i was over her house and ordered out pizza and she ate a lot of the pizza and i was so happy that she was eating but then 15min later she ran 2 the bathroom i couldnt tell 4 sure if she was throwing up but it sounded like it anyways so one time i slept over her house and i asked her and she just started crying so i didnt bring it up again but i have been noticing that she looks WAY 2 thin! latley she has always been close 2 underweight but now WOW she is unhealthy skinny but the problem is that we got into a fight and she is rlly mad at me (the fight wasnt about her eating disorder) and she wont talk 2 me but im worried about her soo much! i cant tell her mom or dad because her dad is out of the picture in her life and her mom dosnt care no rlly she dosnt care at ALL!!! so i dont kno what i should and can do 4 her?

My niece is 6 years old and I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. She has just about every toy you can think of (playstation, xbox, gameboy, camera, computer, arts, crafts, etc). If that doesn't make it hard enough, she is a self-proclaimed tomboy who "hates all girly things" and "hates baby stuff." She rolls her eyes and says, "whatever" all the time so she acts like a teeny bopper mall rat yet she believes she's a tomboy. She's always bored and I think it's because she's struggling to figure out her identity (weird for a 6 year old but these days kids grow up fast). She's not into cars, trucks, and sports (the way a tomboy should be) and she's not into princess type stuff either.

So any ideas? Basically looking for a gift for a spoiled 6 year old, self-proclaimed tomboy, who acts like a 12 year old suffering from pre-teen angst.

My husband and I are TTC...I find that once I ovulate and we have sex, that I am scared to exercise in fear that something could happen to the fetus, if there happened to be one at the time. Walking is one thing...I'm not scared of doing that....but what about crunches, riding a bike, etc? I probably sound like a fruit loop......
