I am 22 years old and to be married next year. My fiance' and I are planning to wait a couple of years to start trying to have a baby. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 15 and have been on and off birth control pills since. I have recently started taking them again regularly to prevent pre-marriage pregnancy. However, I am so afraid of not being able to conceive when we'd want to start trying. What are some steps I can take NOW to ensure an easier time to get pregnant when the time comes? If there's nothing I can do now, then when and what can I do? I really don't want to have to go thru IVF since it's very invasive, the success rates are low and it costs major money that we won't have. Please help? And no wisecracks please, this is a serious question. Thanks :)

i have not had any spotting or anything i took a test today but it was negative is it to soon to know. my last regular cycle was sept 26 and i had one augt 24 then i stopped the pill august 27

our daughter loves to pick up my gamecube controller and sit as if shes playing the cube but we cant find any games geared specifically to two year old toddlers. we are able to find all sorts of dora the explorer and blues clues games, but those are still geared more for 3 and up. any help would be greatly appreciated.

last might i had the worst sharp shooting pains i know what bad cramps feel like and these werent ordinary cramps they were at thier peak for 7-8 hours then out of no where i started bleeding there are some clots (not alot) and some really black blood mixed in with the lighter blood the pain is still there but its subsided a bit and im 80% sure that i had a like 2 day spotting eailer this month and that my period is not due till around the middle of next month

Last night was sad, and unfortunately not too uncommon. (it isn't an every day thing, but still... it happens a few times a month and I wish i could help.)

My daughter and I were sitting on the couch watching a movie. In it, a man put his life in danger to save a girl. My kid bursted out crying. I thought maybe the scene was too scary. When I tried to comfort her, she said she wished that her dad loved her that much.

He has not lived with us since 2003. He wants to, but I will not allow it. He is an alcoholic, and he has proven himself to be dangerous when he drinks. He has been to rehab, but I have still caught him drinking and been told that he makes threats behind my back. I do encourage him to see her sometimes with my supervision, but she just can't understand and I don't know what to do.

I tell her that her father loves her. He wants to be with us, but when he drinks beer he does not think straight. Then she asks why can't we just take away his beer so he will be better.

I'm almost 27. And have 3 beautiful children. I had my 1st when i was 17- my 3rd by the time i was 21.
When i was still 21 i decided that was it i want no more - but the pill had failed me, plus i worried about the long-term effects it has on the body. And the contraceptive injection made me have a period for the whole time i was on it. So i decided to get sterilized. And i did even tho i was only young.
But now- even tho i haven't changed my mind on having more kids(yet) i have been thinkin about it alot. I'm not with my kids dad, but i am in a good, stable loving relationship with a man i adore. But he has no kids(hes 27). We have discussed it many times and he says he is ok with not having kids. But i keep thinkin i could be robbing him of one of lifes great expeirences. And if we do stay 2gether i'm worried he might resent me when he's an old man.

My son is 9 months old... he is 29 pounds...big boy, not over fed he was exclusivly breastfed till 7 months and just started baby food and somtimes formula...anyways he is in the biggest size diaper size 6 in pampers crusiers... do they make bigger diapers? and are cloth diapers made to fit bigger babies,,, one more thing is there a place or companyi could get a free sample of a cloth diaper, so i am not wasting money ( they are expensive to start)

The doctor is not worries about her size and weight but she is in the 95 percentile in both height and weight and is the height of a 5 year old. I worry about weight because our family is not all that skinny so I watch what she eats but she always complains she is hungry...any ideas

My daughter is 19mths. She wake up at least four times thru the night for her cup! We give her watered down juice but how do I wean her off this, the sleepness nights i thought were over! We tried just water but she cried so bad & so long, we gave in. Any suggestions??

I know they say that pregnant women nipples get bigger but recently it looks like i have a third nipple. Weird i know. I dont know if its a swollen sweat gland or an actual pimple. But its so weird it does not hurt and its a little reddish in color. It almost literally looks like a third nipple. What could this be.

OK, I go to a midwifery office where there are about 6 different midwives on staff. I've seen 3 so far & have really liked them all-except one. She's new-she's from out of town & just started working at the office I go to. I do not like her at all! Her tone of voice is condescending-she totally talks down to me. (it's a long story). Anyway, I have requested to see one of the other midwives at my next visit, but I don't know if I can be sure I won't have to see her again. My question is: Should I say something to one of the other midwives? I do not want her to be at my labor & delivery. However, I don't want to sound like a *****, but I really feel she treated me poorly & maybe some other patients have had the same experience. I'm on public aid, so it's not like I have many options. BTW- I'm 30 weeks.

I am on dianette combined pill. I stopped taking it on 7th October, missing the last week of the pack.. I then started my period 3 days later (this wasnt a true period) which lasted about 10days even tho it was very light at the end. I then took one pill and stopped again, ive had sex with my boyfriend since then but tests are showing negative. Last wk i started to get really bad cramps in my tummy, it felt as tho i was going to start my period really bad but it never came and wasnt due to either, this has now faded but i still feel as tho my period is coming. In the past ive always had a problem with thrush but since these cramps ive has really bad thrush but its not itchy and smells not too great, during this till my tummy looks alittle swollen. It has now been almost 4weeks since i stopped taking my pill apart from 1... please advise if i can get pregnant now?? I know you should wait but i dont want to x

I have daily headaches and have taken Elavil in the past. I discountinued taking it when I became pregnant with my now 6 month old daughter. My doctor has put me back on it but I am very anxious about taking it. He said there isn't much known about the effects to an infant. He said very little is transferred through breastmilk...but I am still concerned. I am stuck because I can't stand having this pain on a daily basis but I also do not want to harm my daughter. I will feel a lot better if I know of other people that have taken it while breasfeeding and if their children did fine.

When I was eight months pregnant I found out the my best friend was also pregnant, then one month later she called me and told me that she had a miscarriage, I felt so bad because I was about to have my second child. Then I found out that she lied to me she had an abortion. I found out from a mutual friend, I am hurt because having an abortion is your decision a miscarriage isn't, she made it like she was so excited to have this child,and then that she was so upset that she had miscarried, her having a miscarriage took an emotional toll on me in my last couple weeks of pregnancy and I have not talked to her since I found out. am I over reacting
