I am on dianette combined pill. I stopped taking it on 7th October, missing the last week of the pack.. I then started my period 3 days later (this wasnt a true period) which lasted about 10days even tho it was very light at the end. I then took one pill and stopped again, ive had sex with my boyfriend since then but tests are showing negative. Last wk i started to get really bad cramps in my tummy, it felt as tho i was going to start my period really bad but it never came and wasnt due to either, this has now faded but i still feel as tho my period is coming. In the past ive always had a problem with thrush but since these cramps ive has really bad thrush but its not itchy and smells not too great, during this till my tummy looks alittle swollen. It has now been almost 4weeks since i stopped taking my pill apart from 1... please advise if i can get pregnant now?? I know you should wait but i dont want to x

Okay I hope I'm getting this right....you want to get pregnant, but for the first part of the month you were on the pill and you skipped the last week and then took the first one for the next month....when you skip your menstrual cycle pills and begin a new month, you mess up your body, so I hate to say this, but your body might just be a little out of whack. Maybe since it has been a few weeks then your body is starting to recooperate and is trying to get normal again. But there is a chance you are pregnant because for one, no birth control is 100% effective. And since you have had unprotected sex since, then you could be just a few weeks pregnant. But I would wait a little longer to find out. Good luck to you.

First question is have you made the decision to keep it? Remeber its totally your choice and if you seriously want an abortion then thats ok and no one can tell you otherwise. And if you want to keep your baby then get you support networks ready and start getting support, whether it be parents or friends. Get to the doctors and take responsibility with check ups and vitamins you should be having. What ever your choice its yours and think carefully about it. Sometimes age doesnt really matter. There will be lots of people who can help you either way. I got pregnant at 17. Dont regret it at all. My baby died though. You need to be responsible and mature about it, not one of those girls who cares more about being out at the weekend rather than looking after your baby. GOOD LUCK!!

I am in the same boat as you honey. I stopped taking my pill on the 6th of October and then got my period around the 11th of October.
I have been having sex all the time.
I am due to get my period around the 8th of November.
So lets hope we are both pregnant because I have been get stomach pains like I am going to get my period for the past 4 days.

I am in no place to judge, but since you asked for advice, I'll give it to you. I think you should examine your motivations for wanting to get pregnant right now. Why not wait until you are married to try to conceive? Even after you're married, you should probably still wait a couple of years to see how steady the relationship is before you start trying. Having a baby is a big deal, it's not an event, it's a LIFETIME. Please rethink this before it's too late.

MY ADVICE IS THAT UR BODY IS GOING THROUGH CHANGES IN HORMONE LEVELS SO U MIGHT GO A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND NOTHING. DONT GET FRUSTRATED. UR BODY IS TRYI NG TO ADJUST . JUST LET IT HAPEND. DONT FORCE IT, DONT THINK ABOUT IT. JUST RELAX AND WHEN I COMES IT COMES. BUT IF U WANT TO PLAN IT BECUASE U WANT THE BABY TO BE BORN BY A CERTAIN MONTH THEN GO TO UR HEALTH CLINIC AND THEY CAN HELP U PLAN A NORMAL PREGNANCY AND GIVE U VITAMINS LIKE FOLIC ACID BEFORE U CAN GET PREGNANT SO UR PREGNANCY IS A HEALTHY ONE.!!! GOOD LUCK AND BE WELL.
