this morning my 18 month old climbed out of his crib for the first time. i've been dreading this just like any other mother probably. any tips on how to keep him in there for now on? his matteress is as low as it goes and has nothing but stuffed animals and a pilllow in there. love to hear what worked for you!

Just out of curiousity, how much does everyone's baby weigh, and what size clothes are they in at what age?

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I have a huge concern. This morning while in bed my 18-month-old daughter fell head down on my abdomen and though I didn't feel anything I'm terribly concerned about it having an impact on my growing fetus. Can you please weigh in.

Oh I'm not due for my first ultrasound until the 14th of November so I can't get it checked even if I wanted to.

and she would projectial vomet so i changed her formula to isomal because it said for spitup, fussiness and colic babys. Since i've had her on that she doesn't projectile vomet and more but now she is VERY constipated and gassy. Any suggestions?

Do you have to wait until after your pregnant to tour a hospital? There are two hospitals where I live. I would like to really tour both before deciding, to see if one is better than the other or not. I'd like to know what hospital I'd definately like to go with before picking my doctor out (because certain Drs use certain hospitals). But am I going to be the only nonpregnant woman checking out hospital maternity wards?

I am 4 months pregnant with twins, and starting to get alot bigger. My fiancee has a 4 year old son with another women and he comes round every second weekend. The ex wife seems a bit upset about the hole thing although she does feel it will be good for their son to have brothers or sisters. She is worried he will be left out during this time. How do you deal with such a situation?

My last period started on October 4th. It was an abornormal period. Usually my period last about four days. This period lasted for four days then stopped, and came back a day later and lasted another four to six days. Two weeks prior to this period me and my husband had a sexualy encounter where we attempted to concieve. Ever since my abnormal period I been feeling sick alot. Also I have been getting hot flashes. Certain smells have been making me extra sick and loosing my apetite. Are these signs of pregnancy? My next period is supposed to come in two days.

I smoke and I think I may be pregnant. So my question is, is it better for me quit cold turkey (which I don't think that I could seriousy do)? Or would it be safe to quit slowly by weaning myself off or even using the patch or gum? I don't want to continue to smoke, but I don't know what to do. I know that I am not strong enough, no I don't have enough will power to just stop. And I know it would not be fair to the baby if I cheated trying cold turkey. Can anyone give me any advice on what they did or maybe someone they know. Or any good ideas on quitting while still being healthy for the baby.

I completely forgot that it was halloween until today. I don't get paid until tomorrow, and by the time I get done work and give the kids their supper, there won't be time to go and get a costume.. so I need to make something and I need to make something fast.

I'm pregnant and my daughter will be about 20 months when I deliver. I plan on keeping the baby with me for a couple months but I'm trying to figure out if I can use her crib for the baby or if we need to buy another one. I planned on getting her a toddler bed and using the crib for the baby but she is such a restless sleeper...it makes me nervous to think about putting her in a bed. So what is the usual age toddlers start sleeping in beds? Thanks!

Two potential fathers - one is B+ and one O+, the Mom is AB-, the Baby is B+, which potential father would more likely be the actual father? Can it be possible for the O+ male to be the Baby's father if the Baby is B+?

well here within the last 3 months i have been having all they signs of being pregnant. after i had my son 13 months ago i got the IUD put in and now im gaining lbs i cant wear most of my normal clothes anymore i am having to wear some of my old maternity clothes. i called my old doc he said he wanted me to get checked out. but my insurance is still pending. My mom got pregnant with my older brother when she had an IUD in. i know my syptoms are not side effects of my IUD my old doc told me that. if i am pregnant i am 3 months and a few days. what happends if i am pregnant? what should i do when i find a clinic to go to? should i ask for a blood test or ultrasound? see my HCG level was very low when i had my son i didn't find out i was pregnant till i was 4 months. pluse i am having pain when ever me and my husband have sex. could that mean my IUD is out of place? i never felt were the strings were after i had it put in but i tried and could not fill them but i have short fingers Help!!

I am only 12 weeks gone, but have already started to think about names, and before anyone says "your getting ahead of yourself" I know this already, but cant help it. I wont know the sex of the baby so PLEASE boy and girl names.
I like things that are a little bit different, but not strange enough for the child to be bullied.

I heard there can be complications with having the placenta on the anterior wall as apposed to the posterior, i understand that it is not a serious problem but may cause problems at delivery. Anyone else have this and did they expirience problems in pregnany??

Hi, need help in this, my wife's menses are very regular...i guess that's what they call it the 28 cycle thingy, her menses came on the 18th Sept, we had did it after her period was over, but around 1-2 weeks ago, she had some spotting, but it was not the menses, then it ended.

Untill now, her menses hasn't come, today she discovered some spots, but not full flow, don't know what's happening now,

is she pregnant? As it is already 30th today, she should have her period if it comes.

Any enlightenment from anyone?
