I completely forgot that it was halloween until today. I don't get paid until tomorrow, and by the time I get done work and give the kids their supper, there won't be time to go and get a costume.. so I need to make something and I need to make something fast.
Any suggestions for something quick?

I just saw this and thought it was cute. Get a box cut out a head and arms and decorate if like a Rubik's cube. They used different colors of papers and duct tape to make the squares. It was easy and unique at the same time.

This one is quite tacky yet absolutely one of you may want to string small ceral packing bins on a chunk of rope then stick forks via the packing bins and placed on it round your neck (subsequently THE CEREAL Killer)get it?? Yeah that one might want to be to "gay" for you (considering that 13yr olds who do matching costumes are) yet its only a tenet.

take a black trash bag stuff it with news paper, cut out arm and leg wholes first. then using masking tape put m&m on the front. there is always make up and regulaer clothes for a boy to be a zombie, , use your make up . loan a little girl one of your nice shirts let her play in your makeup give her a pair of high heels and you have a little girl playing dress up. and of coarse there is always the cut eye holes in a sheet ghost.

Get a headband and attach some felt triangle "ears" on it. Tie a rope to your back belt loop of your sleekest black pants for a "tail" and use black eyeliner to make wiskers on your face. Wear a black shirt, and presto, you're a cat.

hows about a devil dress all in red make your own horns and tail its not really that hard and a female always looks good in a devils costume! enjoy the party!

traditional ghost- use a sheet :-) or what about hippies? find some funky dress, preferably with flower pattern, sunglasses and teach them how to show "peace" :-D
or maybe a widow? put on something black, black sunglasses and ask them to pretend they are terribly sad
