I am only 12 weeks gone, but have already started to think about names, and before anyone says "your getting ahead of yourself" I know this already, but cant help it. I wont know the sex of the baby so PLEASE boy and girl names.
I like things that are a little bit different, but not strange enough for the child to be bullied.
Any help will be appreciated.
I liked the name Malachi!!! but my man and family hate it, what do you think????

I like the name Logan too!! But it is common in my area in scotland. I think it must have been in a film or something. I have spoken to about 4 girls that I know that are calling/called their boy Logan.
But it is a lovely name so I can totally understand.

Go ahead and think of names. There is no halm in thinking! There is so little you can do in the early days (you can't really buy stuff until after 20 weeks), so looking at names is fun!
I like Malachi. I am 8 months preganant and have had my names since week 7 or 8!!!!!!!. If you like the name keep it secret, you would hate someone to "steel" it!. As I don't know you, I can tell you my secret names. Lexie & Madeleine. I know I am having a girl!. My boys names were Logan and Quinn
Good Luck

Get a baby book. Or just think of names. Try putting the names with what the baby's last name will be. Try using it as a first or middle name - don't forget - there is a middle name, too! :) Is there anyone special in you life - maybe a relative, or friend? Someone who changed your life? Maybe that for the middle name if you don't want it for the first name.
You'll figure it out. I did the same thing - tried to pick out a name early on. I tried everything. I didn't want a name that was too common, yet out there. I tried so many other names. Friends said 'no' to this or that and gave reasons. I never thought of the name I gave my son until I was watching TV one day and BOOM, there it was! Try watching movies, or TV, or reading a book. Good luck with everything!

Malachi was a Fire and Brimstone prophet.
If you like Old Testament names, Joseph, Jacob's beloved son, was known to go for his dreams no matter what life threw at him (slavery or prison). He became the Prime Minister of the most powerful country in the world at that time. He showed compassion to his brothers that resented him and saved his family.

It might be helpful if you suggested what you would like the name to mean, like joyful (Alize or Ronni) or blessing (Grace or Barke)
Also think of your surname (eg if your surname is Hill dont name your son Anthony ... Ant Hill) make sure it sounds right together.
Current favourite names are:
Jacob
Emily
Michael
Joshua
Matthew
Ethan
Andrew
Emma Daniel
Madison
By the way Malachi is hebrew and means messenger of God, other names with this meaning are;Angela, Angelo, Anjelita, Arella, Aulani, Deacon, Erelah, Gotzone, Nuncio, Tupac

I think you will choose loads of names before settling on one. In the early stages of my pregnancy I called my bump Connor, then over the weeks he was Jude, Barney, Vincent, Dillion and all sorts! He ended up being a Harry! - If it had been a girl I had narrowed it down to Pearl, Lilliana, Daisy or Margaret, but I convinced myself he was a he!
Go to google and just type in "baby names" and there are loads of different web sites with names and there meanings from all over the world.
Good luck with your pregnancy and when you look at you baby you will know what they are called.
