When trying to concieve? Besides ovulation tests and having sex about 3 times a week, is there anything else to do that could make it more for sure that pregnancy would happen?

he is 5 yrs old and will refuse to eat for days. his teacher says that he eats his enitre hot lunch every day but just last night, i told him if he wanted any of his candy from trick or treating he had to eat a spoonful of beans. i know once he tastes the foods he will like them.
i also know it is my fault, what i need to know now is how do i reverse this. he is skinny and even his baby sister weighs almos as much as him. his dr says he isnt unhealthy but i think he is.
is it really okay to only offer him what is made and nothing else if he will refuse to eat for days? right now he is living off of cheerios and elementy school hot lunch.

My hubbie and i are tryin to concieve. i asked a question 2 days ago about a very faint positive on a Firt Response test. I tested again last night with a walgreens brand HPT. I clearly got a positive. Would the brand of the test matter? And i still have not gotten my period... Im going to the doctor today. But is there any other reason i would get a positive?

It's because I don't look pregnant. The doc says everything is fine, and I'm gaining the right amount of weight and my uterus measured right at my last appt. But I have a small belly. I even feel like I could go for a run and it wouldn't even get in the way. There's no position that's uncomfortable either, and when I lay down my tummy kinda goes away. I feel like I look more like a college girl with a beer belly than a 27 yr old pregnant woman. This is my first and I'm hoping it's only this way because my torso's kinda long? He is moving in there like crazy, but if he were getting big and gaining weight shouldn't my belly be sticking out more??? Trying not to complain about it, but I want the experience of being pregnant! Thanks!!!

I know it's a persian name and anyone can have it. Most of the people I've seen are black.
I saw this one kid in a movie playing a mexican, but he had features of a puerto rican, which he looked like a light-skinned black kid. His name is Darius Rose and I really thought he would have an accent or hispanic name.
I heard Tyler is popular in the black community and his name was Tyler in Bruce Almighty.

She started smoking behind my back and stealing cigarettes. her dad and I tell her if shes going to smoke, she has to earn the money to buy her own. We both smoke so its hard to tell her not too because we are setting an example ourselves. but how do i get her to quit even though she knows its bad for her. I have had heart surgery and she knows cigarettes led to that too.

My period was supposed to have started saturday but it has not?i am on the pill and normally have my period start on the same day every month.I have taken my pills regularly even when i was sick with stomache virus and a cold so i dont understand?I had no period last month either but my doctor said to keep taking the pill and that it was probably just stress but now i am worried.?My bf and i have a tirbulent relationship on/off and i passed out during our latest fight?I have no symptoms should i see my doctor or stop taking the pill?

I have 2 boys ages 3 and 5. I have problems with my 5 year old back talking, having an attitude with everyone, and hitting his brother. I have taken things away from him, spanked him, put him in time out, sent him to bed early and it doesn't seem to bother him. he may throw a fit for a few minutes, but thats it. I'm not sure what else to do. any ideas?

Sometimes I think we do some of the same things we did as children...but now we hide them better.

What happened:

This past summer I was sitting in a park near my home and watching these kids practicing Karate. They must have been 5 or 6 years old. There were about 10 of them with a instructor working with them, they were so cute in their white robes. All of a sudden these older boy's rode up on their bikes and they started to mock them and making fun of these children, they were yelling out noises like: yaaaahh, woaaa etc.
The little kids were embarrassed and it disrupted their practice...it was very ugly.

What's your response to why they did this?

I had a baby 4 months ago. I am breastfeeding so in the first 6 weeks I experienced uterine contractions while my son ate, like all breastfeeding women do. But it has come back. I can feel my uteris contracting while he eats. Also i have pains in my lower abdomen that come and go throughout the day. Does anyone know what this is?

my girlfriend was taking the mini pill birth control and she started it on the first day of her menstrual cycle(sept 17th) and then she stopped taking it 2-3 days after her period ended (approx 25th)because of the side effects. well she bleed for about 2 days after she stopped takin those pills. she expected her next period to be off because of this. and now she just took a morning after pill on MONDAY oct 23rd. she is suppose to be gettin her period and has not started it yet.
could it be possible that she will miss a period because all the progesterone hormones she has been taking off and on? or will it just really mess up her cycles??

We are having a girl supposedly. I want to know what you guys think. We had a little bit of problems so we had do get enough of my share of ultrasounds done. Everytime we went i kept asking if they could see what it was all 3 times that they could tell or say the thought it came out to be a girl. I want to trust this but what do i do start buying pink or wait until the baby comes out. I know it could be a mistake but 3 times mistake i thought 3rd time was the charm.

How come Mom's get angry with me? I work as a Centralized Scheduler for a Children's Hospital.

Most of the time if I don't have an Appointment that week or (Day) I get cursed at, yelled at the whole nine. When I attempt to explain this is what you need to do to have your child seen that soon they don't even want to hear it. These Dr.s are Specialist not Family Dr.'s

It's just give me what I want, who cares what the Dr.'s you schedule for tell you.

So what do you suggest to make this process easier, I want thier children to be seen just as bad as they do but I have to follow rules you know. Any suggestions will be helpful.

I am bottle feeding, and my 2 week old girl finishes her bottle everytime, when do I know to increase the amount of formula. Right now, she is eating roughly every three hours, but sometimes acts like shes still hungry after eating...or does she just have that 'sucking reflex'?

I went to the doctor on last month because I felt moving around in my tummy, I also threw up alot and was always dizzy, I had my tubes tied 2 yrs ago and I fill very pregnant I took two home pregany test and they both had a faint pregnat line but the doctor took a pee test in his office and he said in was negative although he did not take any blood from me, now I am very worried I woke up last night with my bed wet and it wasnt pee cause I smelled it also I had alot of stomach pain yesterday could I be pregant and in labor
