I had a baby 4 months ago. I am breastfeeding so in the first 6 weeks I experienced uterine contractions while my son ate, like all breastfeeding women do. But it has come back. I can feel my uteris contracting while he eats. Also i have pains in my lower abdomen that come and go throughout the day. Does anyone know what this is?

it takes a long time for a womans body to recover from giving birth.
this could be your body slowly returning to normal. but if you are a little unsure and are worried, i'd call the doc.

You might just be starting your period again or your uteris hasn't gone back to its normal size yet. You wait to see if your just not getting menstral cramps. If not and it is still happening you can call your Dr. or nurse and ask if you should make an appointment with them.

yeah that's normal, I had a baby ah year ago in august, and sometimes I still get "phantom baby" kicks, its just your body getting used to itself again, if you start having bad contractions, or a really bad smell, or even profuse bleeding go to the doctors asap,

that is your uterus shrinking back to its original size. When you breastfeed it just speeds it up so keep doing it and it will help you lose weight!
