If the lady continues to bleed and/or cramp, then yes, it's entirely possible that she did NOT pass all of the tissue & needs to see an ob/gyn immediately. Most likely she will require a D&C to clean out her uterus. I had to have this done when I miscarried.

If someone had a miscarriage they need to see a doctor ASAP. There is always a risk of it not being complete, which could lead to serious complications.

you need to see a doctor asap, sometimes everything comes away other times you need to have a D&C. Either way it is better to get checked out.
