That's exactly what it feels like, a little tap!
Later on, it feels like gas bubbles moving around.
And then the baby starts stomping on your bladder.
Or it does a yoga stretch on the diagonal and your belly bulges in two directions at once. Those are really dramatic and fun to watch!

Awwww, that is so sweet!!! Congrats!!!!! I was 18 weeks when I felt the first "flutter" with each of my 3 kids. Then more like 22-24 weeks when I felt the "mini-kick". I was about 28 weeks when I felt the full blown mega kick!! And my daughter kept the hiccups alot while carrying her. They were cute but eventually became annoying, esp. when I was trying to sleep. Good luck!!!!

AAwwwww! Congratulations! I DO remember that first time; I was 18 weeks pregnant before we knew I was, almost halfway through! But I hadn't felt anything, so truly didn't have a clue. The very first time I felt my son, it was more of a "flutter" inside of me, unlike anything I had ever experienced beofre - I probably was about 22-24 weeks. I cried, because it was such an incredible gift I had received!!! Good luck to you & all the very best!!

I was about 20 some weeks. Usually your baby will be most active from 24 to 28 weeks along.

To me, it felt like a goldfish squirming around in there. I am trying to remember when I first felt it, but I think it was around 22 or 23 weeks.
