I have been having constant contractions for 3 days now, they started off like 30 mins apart worked down to 7 mins apart they weren't changing my cervix so doc gave me something to help me rest, slowed them down, later they started back up like 25-30 mins apart worked all the way to 8 mins apart went to doc again and she checked me said I was 2 and was in early stage of labor. she stripped my membranes and said i would probally be at the hospitail later that night, well she was right my contractions not only got closer but stronger also. they were 4-5 mins apart and very painful about 3am went to hospitail thought is was time, get in there and the nurse says that i am not in labor at all. Sends me home and still hurting I don't know what to say or think. Anyone know what is happening

While at Walmart this morning my little one decided to poop so I took her into the restroom but I wasnt sure whether or not to use that changing table thing they got on the wall. So i just reclined her stroller seat and changed her diaper in there. Wasnt sure how dirty that thing was.

I have read that if you have a thick discharge that is brownish or blood tinged that it is your mucus plug. I have been having a very thick discharge but it is a yellow color, no blood. Do you think that I am losing my mucus plug? I am 38 weeks pregnant.

My 12 year old daughter asked me this and I thought it would be a fun poll. My dream is simple. Since I have very limited childcare help (without paying for it) and my husband's weekends are dedicated to rebuilding our flooded basement (again without paying for help) I am unable to go shopping without listening to my 12 year old beg for every CD in the store or argue over the inapproprietness of the 'cool clothes'; or have to chase my 2 year old around and keep his hands off of everything. And I'm never buying anything for me either. So this is where I would go. I would go shopping by myself, for myself; and since it is a fantasy, I won't look at the price tags either- a simple dream, my dream.

i was in a huge argument with my girlfriend who has a 4 year old daughter & she basicly teaches her (by way of not discouraging it and actually promoting it ) to beg people for things, from jewelry that you're wearing to buying things at the store, you literally can't walk into their house without the little girl running up to you and asking "did you bring me something?" Then she stands there like "yeah, did you bring her something?" she makes her feel like everyone in the world owes her something and I think it's setting her up for a rough life but my friend thinks it's "cute" and that it will teach her to be a go getter what do you think

She's 7 1/2 months, and I'd like to get her used to a sippy cup. Is it ok to give her tap water, or should it be boiled first.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor has prescribed 1500mg a day of Glucophage but taking the tablet thrice a day made me sick to the point that I just could not function. I have reduced the dosage myself to 1000mg a day and have very little side effects. Do you think it will still be effective? We have been ttc for the last 6 months and the doc now says that i have endometriosis in my other ovary. What do you think my odds are of conceiving? I know these are too many questions but appreciate all the serious advice.

Ok, I know someone who claims that they miscarried at 22 weeks. They claim they were having pains & bleeding, went to the hospital, and the doctors put her to sleep, this is all she remembers. I believe she traveled to a state that allows late abortion, and aborted the baby. My question is what happens if a baby is truely miscarried that far along? Do the doctors just put you to sleep, and when you wake up the baby is not in your belly?? Please clear up any confusion that I have. Thank-you.

If you ever watch Super Nanny or Nanny 911, it's always white people who have kids that are out of control.

In fact, it's usually white people in upper middle class neighborhoods.

It seems that for all their college educations, they lack in the common sense department.

Their kids curse at them, throw things, hit them, don't listen....all kinds of crazy things.

And all the parents seem to do is say, Please Billy, stop it. Would you please stop....

What is so difficult about having common sense?? It seems that any idiot can go get a college degree, but common sense doesn't seem to be all that common.

Why do so many white parents lack it?

PS - And I know people will say that blacks or hispanics have bad kids too, and that their kids commit more crimes etc.

Yes, a few blacks or hispanics also have very bad kids, but not as bad as white kids. A black or hispanic kid will never say "I hate you" and hit at it's mother. Nooooooo

Oh, and the crime thing has something to do with
