Yes, that's your baby moving. I'm 5 months along as well (2nd child)... and get so excited. I sit and watch my belly as often as I can. I like to put the TV remote right where I get the kicks and watch the remote jerk back and forth. That way, my husband gets to see all the action a bit better.
Just wait until 8 months. You'll be getting jabbed in the ribs.. Ouch! Later on... you'll be able to judge where the head is... you may even see the outline of an arm or leg... depending on your weight. You'll see that you'll push your baby around with your own hands to relieve pressure. All good things to come!
Have a healthy pregnancy... and good luck at delivery.

I felt my second child moving inside me at 14 weeks. If this is your first, no it's not too soon. You would be right on time. I imagine your doctor has been asking if you have felt fetal movement or not. You are feeling the baby move. Congratulations.

You are most definitely feeling the baby move, and this will become easier to feel/detect the farther along you become.....
Congratulations!

Yay, baby's moving, saying 'Hi, mommy!'
I didn't realise that sensation was the baby moving when I was pregnant, well done for recognising it!
