Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 September 2006

My 7 month old still doesn't sleep through the night. She shares a room with her sister (2.5 years old), so I don't want her to wake her up if she cries. My baby is also pretty stubborn if you leave her to cry herself to sleep. Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

i have done 2 home tests which both came back positive and today ive been getting little sharp pains very low down then when i wiped myself there was spotting off light blood, is there anything 2 worry about?

Will my daughter (and for that matter all newborns) use their rooting reflex even if they are not hungry?

I am breastfeeding and my 3 week old has been eating LITERALLY every 20-30 minutes since yesterday (though thank goodness she slept during the night). But she is rooting constantly and the only thing that appeases her is to be eating!!

Could it be a growth spurt? I don't know if they have them at 3 weeks of age. My milk supply seems to be fine. I am adamant about not supplementing, but I am drained, literally!

My first appointment is next week. My b/f is a trucker, so we don't see each other much & we haven't had sex in a month. He is home now & we had sex last night & a little tiny bit of blood came out when I went to the bathroom. I get sore when we have sex because we don't have sex much cuz he's gone a lot. He looked at me down there & said I was a little raw so could it maybe be from having sex since I don't have sex that much? I haven't had any cramping & nothing feels different. I haven't bled like a period or had any more blood at all. I am just curious about that little bit of blood. I just don't want anything to be wrong.

When i go to the toilet in school, i sit there for ages, but when im at home im quick.
I know that this is a gross question but ive started to get in trouble for skiving lessons & at lunch the young kids get out 5mins earlier than us so there is a huge que.

Wherever i go in school my best mate follows me, even if i go to the toilet, he'll follow & just do his hair by the mirrors, & if he is asked to do an errand by the teacher he always asks for me to go along & help.

as i said he is 8 yrs ,but now he dont listen to us,nor he is afraid of anything.when i slap him either he laughs sometimes and if he cry also then after 5 min he'll be back to normal and do what ever he likes to do.he dont take interest in studies as well,runs whenever ask to study,he's in class 3.i get so irritated at times that i shout at him ,but it hardly makes difference to him.i haven't read child psychology,so i dont know exactly how to handle him in more appropriate way.what should i do.i mean i should be soft or more hard towards him,earlier i never used to beat him.i have thyroid so i'm not supposed to shout also.

I feel like the baby may have dropped. And I have a feeling of pressure on my vagina as well it feels very tender and theres a dull ach, kinda like when I was on my period and it was really heavy. This is my first child. Personal experiences would help as well. Thanks!

she also has 2 year old daugher by me & three other girls by her previous marriage but now she s adamant to have a boy even im not ready to agree, i dont think she'll not concieve again cos she had a normal delivary recently it s too much for me to have a one more kid wer im not sure it could be boy. is is that she'll concieve cos we had sex without contraciption pls advice.
