Have sex and let your hubby do it.

Make up your mind.
You've said you're due 9/21 and 9/27. You've said you're 38 weeks and you've said you're due in 1 week. Now you're saying that you're "well overdue." Which one is it?????

A normal pregnancy is anywhere from 38 to 42 weeks. RELAX. All babies do come out. Trust your body and your baby to know when it is time. Labor will be much easier if you don't try to force it. All you're doing is frustrating yourself. RELAX. Get a massage to balance your body. You'll physically feel better and labor will be easier.

DO NOT use castor oil. It will make you miserable and make you run to the bathroom. There is no guarantee it will start labor. You could just spend a miserable day on the toilet for nothing. AND it could make your baby have his first bowel movement in the womb, which can be dangerous if they aspirate it.

As for nipple stimulation, it takes at least 20 minutes for it to do anything. It may or may not work.

Sex would probably be safer and more likely to do something for you. Semen can help to ripen the cervix and orgasm can bring on contractions that might turn into labor.

What does your caregiver say about you trying to induce your own labor? Has he made any suggestions to you? Are you starting to dilate and efface yet?

FROM HER PROFILE PAGE:

If I try to use Castor Oil to induce Labor where can I find it like what type of aisle and/or store?

Have your boyfriend or hubby lick your left nipple. Don't know why they say this, but it is what I was told. I was also taking Castor Oil, which causes diarreah, so that may have been what did it, but I too was a week early and had the pain in my vagina (which is still here and she is 3 months old today). So it may work for you too. Talk to your doctor about the Castor Oil, though. They might not approve of it, all docs are different. Good luck.

I have never heard of using nipple stimulation to help induce labor. But my doctor told me to have sex and I had my son that same night. So I would try that! Maybe if you go to www.babycenter.com they might be able to help you out with the nipple stimulation or other ways of inducing labor. Good luck! I feel so bad for you honey!!

LEAST EXPENSIVE METHOD for induction of labour

"Scientific Method"-
Warm Moist clot placed on both breast for 5 minutes.
patient then massages/role nipple on ONE breast for 10 minutes
If this do not produces contraction..Stimulate both nipple for another 10 minutes simultaneously.

Once Contractions acheived....they are maintaained by repeated stimulation as required.

THIS SHOULD BE DONE UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION or when U can access hospital soon... BECAUSE some case r there with HYPERTONIC contraction (VERY Strong)

What is wrong with you? Have you read your other questions?? You said your due date was Sept. 21, then Sept. 27, and now you're saying it's in a week. Today is September 9th, which is not a week from either of those dates. Grow up.
