another run in with the family from before, i saw the little girl a few moments ago while i was taking out the trash. she was coming in with the "mother" & a huge bag of whitecastle burgers, we stopped in the hall and she was telling me about starting back to school and how the kids in her class are teasing her and calling her fat (she is 7, very short and looks to weight about 120lbs) the mother chimed in with "tell her, those kids are just malnutritioned and don't get enough food at home" the girl looked really hurt in the face about it & i think that's bullshit because she lets her eat all day and night, everytime i see her she's got a bag of fast food! Last halloween she came by for me to help her with her costume (princess dress) and when she put it on it busted right off her, & she was in tears! I think she knows she's heavy but the mother keeps making exscuses for it and contantly feeding her, how can I tell her she need's to do something different for the childs sake?

Anyone who has answered one of my questions before, knows that I have asked quite a few about my stepkids. I have done this because only a few of my friends and family have stepkids, and none are actually raising them, so I have been looking for life experience and advice from other stepparents. However, I have gotten alot of nasty comments, basically making me out to be a wicked stepmom, an intruder into these kids lives, and an uncaring person, none of which is true. I have only given about 25% of the entire story and have been judged very harshly on that small bit. One thing that I have heard from alot of people on here, something that none of my family or friends agree's with, is that step parents should never disapline. Where does that view come from? And if a stepparent has taken on a full time parenting role, grocery shoppings, school clothes, parent teacher meetings, etc, why should they be treated as a maid, and not truely as a parent? They are doing the duties of a parent.

The 17-year old is a girl too, and sex has nothing to do with it. the house is1/4 mile from mum's house in the middle of the countryside,and drugs have nothing to do with it either. It's just wanting to be independent, in a small way. AllI want to know is the legal position , but I don't think the people who answer know any more than I do. It's hard to get trhrough to citizen's advice on the phone, but obviously I'll have to persevere. There should be a category for legal questions.

Alright, Im 21 one years old and cannot find out if im pregnant or not.
I have never been on birth control my whole life, and my husband and i have had some protected but mostly unprotected sex for the first year we have been married. (When i say unprotected sex, i mean he just "pulls out")
My periods have always been regular. But about 4 months ago mine was late... i waited a few weeks after the missed period and took a pregnancy test..it was negative, .....waited another week, and stil no period. so i went to the clinic and got a blood test. Negative... later that day i had my period. since then it has been two months and NO period. I went to the clinic to see what was going on and Once again i got a pregnancy test (urine tes) and it was Negative. So my doctor gave me some birth control and a prescription that was supposed to start my cycle. And told me after it started to take my birth c. so i took it, its been 2 weeks n still no period. Could i have been preg. this whole time?

Im 33 weeks along and I havent have any birthing classes. I kno I should have done this a long time ago but so much has been going on with me...my husband and I didnt have time to go. I really really hate the fact that I'm 27 and have to go through seeing pregnant women waddling in the streets. I can't help but get angry at them. And I think its all because I live alone - I have no man, I have no life, all I do is go to work, school and salsa class. But it really angers me to see these pregnant women. They make me feel like I am not woman enough in this world. Is this a normal reaction? because I don't like this ugly feeling but they make me so mad....

Has anyone noticed that WIC/Medicaid employees will treat you like you are completely uneducated just because you are currently without a job? How incredibly condescending they are? And God forbid you ever have a rough enough time, however breif, that you have to depend on food stamps. Those people treat you like you are nothing. I wanted to point out to the woman that she was in a way as dependant on us as we were on her- after all, we were paying for her food too in a sense!!

I don’t know how to say this so here it goes.
I just felt like kicking my brother in the balls, me and my girlfriends do it all the time in school. So I started playfighting with him, he was letting me win, when he was on the floor facing me I stomped on his balls, he cried but I did it again and one ball slipped out of the way but the othr was kinda trapped and then I felt a pop under my foot; he passed out and turned very pale! I had no idea they could pop! I told my parents it was an accident. His heart almost stopped on the way to the hospital. They managed to save the ruptured testicle but it will not work anymore.
My Mother was so mad; she gave a big beating, and told me to stay on my room until they decide what to do with me!!! She can not beat me like that, that is abuse, and I hate her. My father do not even wants to see me. Why they don’t believe me?! I locked my door. WHAT CAN I DO TO PROTECT MYSELF?!!!! No stupid answers please.

My husband would like us to expose our son to different relgions. I am protestant while my husband is catholique, but he doesn't think we should stop there. Okay, well it was almost three years since I had last had sex and just last week I went to my boyfriends and we decided to have sex.
