Alright, Im 21 one years old and cannot find out if im pregnant or not.
I have never been on birth control my whole life, and my husband and i have had some protected but mostly unprotected sex for the first year we have been married. (When i say unprotected sex, i mean he just "pulls out")
My periods have always been regular. But about 4 months ago mine was late... i waited a few weeks after the missed period and took a pregnancy test..it was negative, .....waited another week, and stil no period. so i went to the clinic and got a blood test. Negative... later that day i had my period. since then it has been two months and NO period. I went to the clinic to see what was going on and Once again i got a pregnancy test (urine tes) and it was Negative. So my doctor gave me some birth control and a prescription that was supposed to start my cycle. And told me after it started to take my birth c. so i took it, its been 2 weeks n still no period. Could i have been preg. this whole time?

I went through something very similar, though without the doctor for quite a while. I would be weeks late, but the home tests were always negative, and sure enough, I would usually start the day or two after taking the test. Don't you love the cruel irony of wasting your money on that stuff? I was TTC, which was the main reason for my visit to the doctor-to find out why I hadn't, and how on earth I was supposed to-you can't time it when they're never the same. It turned out that I wasn't ovulating, or ovulating irregularly, which was messing up the hormones required to start my period. It sounds like a pain, but have your doctor do some blood tests. They should check for hCG obviously to make sure you're not pg, then they should check your thyroid-a big cause of irregular cycles-and your hormone balance (estrogen, androgens, etc). If you're not trying to get pg, birth control will regulate you if you take it correctly. If you ARE ttc, there are treatments available depending on what they dertimine the cause of your situation to be. Birth control will regulate you either way, but you need to find out if there's an underlying cause so that can be treated as well.
Good Luck.

If you were pregnant it would have showed up on the last pregnancy test you took. More than likely you've just been on an irregular cycle.
But seeing as how you still dont have a period, I would call your doctor again and see what he/she wants you to do. It sounds like you were supposed to take that script to start your period and then once your period came you were to go on the pill to get your body jolted into a regular cycle. It's been two weeks and you still haven't had a menses, so I would be calling the doc to make sure there could be nothing else going on with you.

After all those test no you are not pregnant
Been there, done that too!
I have to ask you--- have you ALWAYS gotten your period every month and at the same time every month?
If not since you are still young you just may not be ovulating.
Your doctor, by giving you birth control is trying to make you ovulate. -- you will not get your period until the end of your packet (active pills).
With this therapy if you want to get pregnant it is best to be on the birth control for about a year (or whatever your doctor recommends) after which you should use protection for 3 months before trying to get pregnant.
This happened to me after 3 miscarriages (1 twins) and 1 successful delivery I went through what you described. I have since had 3 more successful pregnancies!

Will the type of birth control the doctor put you on cause side effects for a baby if you have been pregnant all along? Maybe you should just take a little time and wait to see what happens..you could be pregnant or your body could just feel like not menstruating for now..I'd keep in mind anything you do to your body in case there is a baby..God bless and good luck with this..if you are meant to have children, you will..

no longer likely advice... yet, i replaced into advised that I surely can no longer circulate interior the pool while i'm pregnant?! yet, swimming is between the perfect issues on your physique once you're pregnant? Or, you will injury your infant in case you lay on your abdomen or poke at your abdomen... and, rather everyone needs to tell you that each little thing you sense is "too quickly for that." The issues we get to take heed to! :) Congrats and robust luck!

Nope, I'd say you just have irregular periods. Birth control will help make it more regular so you don't have to play the guessing game anymore.

It's remotely possible, but after all those tests, extremely unlikely. It sounds like you've just gotten out of sync.
