HI there. I had my period, August 14th. I am ttc, had sex, cycle day 18,22, 23, 24. I have 33-37 day cycles. I ovulate late. When can I take a test? Do I have to wait until I miss my period? I am crampy and now my cm is dry. Thanks everyone.

Hey Tweety, thanks for the advice but I ovulated on 9/6. I had sex on 8/31,9/4,9/5 and 9/6. So I did not miss it. I do not ovualte 14 days after my period...

The crampiness isn't a great sign, but I understand that ttc is very difficult and brings anxiety, but learning how to be a parent now means learning patience. It will serve you in good stead for the rest of your life as a mother.
Early pregnancy tests that advertise themselves as "get a positive result as early as four days before your period" seldom work the first time and advise those who get a naegative result to "wait a few days and test again" to sell more tests.
Try to relax and wait until three days after your period is due to test.

Your Sept. period isn't due until at least the week of the 14th and you would ovulate about 2 weeks before this making that approximately 9/1 to 9/5. You had sex between ovulations. You could wait until the week of the 14th to take a home pregnancy test. If you are anxious about it, a urine HCG performed at your doctor's office will tell you your status now. But chances are you got away with it this time.

I believe the hormone that the test detects is produced ten days after conception. As soon as you miss your period, you should take a test. I'd recommend seeing your doctor if you have insurance so you don't have to pay the outrageous prices they mark pregnancy tests with. They can do blood or urine tests, but blood tests are more accurate.

with the clear blue preganacy test you dont have to use first morning urin and the test can be proformed 4 days before your missed peroid. its most accurate to follow the directions on the pregnancy test paper.

u should wait for your miss period and after 10 of your period u can get correct result

take one now and agai nwhen your late it might still be too early.
