Plan B exists for situations like this. You have done everything right and there is no reason to worry. Just follow the instructions and follow through.

However, the plan B only works for this incident, if the same thing happens tonight, you need to take additional precautions.

You may want to avoid vaginal intercourse until you finish your anti-biotics and finish the next package of pills.

That is a very short time to be on the "pill" for it to be considered a birth control source for you. Plus, as you may know antibiotics can render the pill as ineffective.

Although these suggestions maybe coming a little too late for this situation.... you might want to think about them for the future.

Condoms are good contraceptives. However, they should never be used as the main contraceptive. You should always use a spermicidal with the condom. It is also good to have a couple different sizes of condoms on hand. A main reason for a condom breaking is because it's the wrong size.

Also...
When you refill your prescription from the doctor, it is a good idea to also get fitted for a diaphragm. That way you have a back up for contraception. If used properly, the diaphragm can be just as effective as the pill.

It's not a huge chance that your going to be pregnant. Since your currently taking your birthday control on a daily basis at the same time everyday and you also took "Plan B" You'll find out in two weeks if your pregnant or not, if you get your period you aren't if you don't get your period your pregnant.

I'm sure it'll work. If you took the morning after pill within 72 hours, you'll be fine. The chances of you becoming pregnant are slim to none.

I find them morally wrong but I know everyone has different moral beliefs so if that isn't against your belief system I guess that would be a good way to make sure you dont get pregnant, they are pretty much a safe bet if you dont want a baby.

You can't be sure. Even on b/c, and using a condom, you can't be sure. Nothing is failsafe. Just hope for the best, but if you were meant to have a child right now, you will have one.

Buy a vinegar douche at your local drug store or Walmart and use it. The old remedy was that a vinegar douche within 24 hours would 'clean you out'. Good luck!

if you take plan b you will most likely not get pregnant if you take 72 hour after the unprotected sex. the sooner you take pill the better. get checked out by your doctor after just in case.
