I very close friend of my call me about someone that is preg but don't want nothing to do withthe baby, she want me to adopt or find someone, because I at the moment I am out of the US I have torely on the internet to communicate with her, since the baby is due next month the mother intend to leave the baby in the hospital
I have meetings all week and next week so I will not be able to travel, by the way the baby is not in the US the baby will be born in an Island call STV this woman just want a good family for her child
she does speak english
I know this is not the way to do this but at the moment I am trying to not to let the baby stay in the hospital after the birth
she asks me to be the one to choose the parents
she does not want to have agency involved
I have done many favors for my friend including arranging funeral
but this the hardes
so please advise me on how to go about this

When I ask this ? on the net I just made a mistake of thinking that it would be answer by sensitive adult you might have know of adoption agencies to give me some advise
because what actually want is to help the woman keep the baby
and I by the way my family & I have open for homes for children that the parents can't take care of them
we have sent children to school
so if you don't have a good suggestion on how for me to find a loving home for this baby don't answer I also understand that most of you are answering because you want the point not because you have anything to say
someone had advise that I get an agency involve, which I was looking into but still you don't know because I have nerver get involve with one before

Even those who want a private adoption will seek professional help. If she doesn't want to go through and agency then I would suggest she find a lawyer who will help her find the appropriate family for the baby.

What kind of person are you?!?! Your friend is putting it in your hands to find a home for her baby who she wants nothing to do with and you are looking for parents on here?!?!? That is the most absurd thing I've ever heard of. Do everyone involved a favor, let her leave the baby at the hospital! There are programs now that will not "attach" the mother to her baby and the state will automatically take over without ever having to locate the mother again. That baby deserves better then that!

i am hoping i understand you just want advise. There are some organizations that will help her and teach her how to care for the baby. Some of them as soon as they see their baby ro hear its first cries change their minds.
I agree with a lot of the people on here that you should not interview by way of here. If you can speak with your friend and ask her if she can hold out and actually take care of her own child until something can be striaghtened out. maybe the time with the baby will get ehr attached to teh baby.

Where is the island you are talking about and what race is the baby?????My family is looking for a baby to adopt without and agency.

There's no way to do it legally without invlolving other agencies unless you can find an adoption lawyer who knows couples wanting to adopt and you just pick one from there. I would think you'd want to interview people if you could.

If i were you i wouldn't worry about it just butt out it's not you child to worry about if she leaves it at the hospital it will go into foster care and then be adopted

Please get proffesional help with this problem, there are so many people that want to adopt a baby but it needs to be handled properly.
