How likely is it that a Sailor in the Nuclear Power field will get deployed? I'm thinking not very likely, but I just need to be reassured.

The government pays the member 95 percent of what it would have cost the government to move the property up to the member’s maximum authorized weight allowance. How can I find out what 95% of cost would be for a 2LT?

If other countries had treated POW's in the way that these people have been treated we would have been outraged by the lack of justice being served. i think of our Military all over the world and think that if other countries see how we treat the POW's in our care that maybe they will take it out on our soldiers

The question was about this guy wanting to enlist in the Reserves-He wanted to know if he could request being deployed right away.
I told him that he should talk to his recruiter and explained the situation with my own family. This was his reply
"And all you ill-informed family members of military people without the faintest idea, well enjoy your CNN & Strabucks breakfast blend"
I was so offened! I sent this message to him-
"I find your comment about "ill-informed family members" to be rude and thoughtless. My father was a Marine in Vietnam, my step dad re-enlisted during vietnam, my two uncles were there, too. My Husband is a 9 yr Army vet from Dessert Storm, my twin 19 yr old sons are currently Marines, my 20 yr old son is Army National Guard ( along with my 19 yr old nephew) and my 21 yr. old step son is active Army. My family has sacrificed ALOT so that both you and me can watch CNN or go to Starbucks.
I'm sorry if I couldn't answer your question-I was only trying to help.."

I wrote another poem for my heroes and I want to know what you all think of this one too.

"Things I Want To Say"

I want to tell you "Thank you!"
I want to tell you "I care"
I want to tell you I'm proud of you
That bravery like yours is rare
I want to tell you "I love you"
Though I don't know who you are
I want to tell you "You're my hero!"
For fighting in this war
I don't care about your religion
Or care about your race
You have a special place in my heart
And could never be replaced
You're a true American hero
I appreciate all that you do
My children wouldn't be free to live in this world
If it hadn't been for you.

Thank you to all of the brave men and women who are serving and have served this country. You are all my heroes and I love you all for what you have done. Feel free to email me if there is anything I can do such as care packages, etc. THANK YOU for my freedom to live, love, and be here today.

The Army is changing their Class A's which are forest green to blue. We decided we want to have maroon and black as our wedding colors, but blue doesn't match the colors we want. Also, I don't know how dark or light the blues are going to be.

I'm supposed to be leaving for boot camp in August. But I have a real problem with heat. I was wondering if anyone who had gone through at around this time could tell me if it gets very hot and what the general climate was like? I live in NM so it gets in the upper 90s and 100s here. Did it ever get that hot while you were out exercising? And would it make any difference if i left in September?

I don't know when this all started but he wants to join now. He has been volunteering with veterans and disabled for a year now. He saw a documentary on some Montfort Point Marines. He has been dreaming of being in Iraq. He escaped all the violence of Chicago, where he is from. Once he was with his brother and they sprayed their car with bullets (a gang he refused to join) He studied hard and went to college and he has been doing good with his jobs too. He just got a promotion and they said when he gets his degree they will give him a job getting $50k a year! I told him I was concerned because of money and he sold his bike! He said that should help us out for a while. He feels that escaping the violence that he has been CALLED to be in the military. He said he talked to some young men and he feels "lazy" and "like a nothing". He says he needs to "help his country" Do what?
He has always been a Christian guy and a good man to me. We have been married 2 years and known each

line OUR borders with them to protect OUR country; and use all of the resources that are being used in Iraq to fund OUR security. Isn't the President of the United States the one who is to protect the United States and the people of the United States? Not the world!
Our soldiers would be safer on our borders than over there. I don't know, call me crazy,
