I wrote another poem for my heroes and I want to know what you all think of this one too.

"Things I Want To Say"

I want to tell you "Thank you!"
I want to tell you "I care"
I want to tell you I'm proud of you
That bravery like yours is rare
I want to tell you "I love you"
Though I don't know who you are
I want to tell you "You're my hero!"
For fighting in this war
I don't care about your religion
Or care about your race
You have a special place in my heart
And could never be replaced
You're a true American hero
I appreciate all that you do
My children wouldn't be free to live in this world
If it hadn't been for you.
Written By: TONI FROM ALABAMA

Thank you to all of the brave men and women who are serving and have served this country. You are all my heroes and I love you all for what you have done. Feel free to email me if there is anything I can do such as care packages, etc. THANK YOU for my freedom to live, love, and be here today.

To anyone that leaves a rude comment like on the last poem, you must not be American and if you are then your opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one. I love my troops! Some people have heroes like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, etc. Well I am the soldiers biggest fan! I love all my heroes! Being rude won't make me change my mind, it will only tell me that you are the type of person that is miserable with yourself but I don't care if you screw farm animals, think we evolved from a turnip green, or don't wipe your butt, hang in their sunshine.....you're friggin special!

Your poem is an excellent one. You truly have a talent for writing poems and I know the troops support you.

The only thing I have a problem with is the american public blindly supporting our president when he has told numerous lies to get us into this Iraq war to begin with.

Remember, they were suppose to have WMD's. They didn't and now we're told to stay the course because our leadership had caused Iraq to become a breeding ground for terrorists.

Sadaam had no connections to terrorism. He was a tyrant and a very brutal dictator.

Am I against the freedom for the Iraqi people? No!!!!!!!!!! What I am against is what I feel to be loss of direction of why we went into Iraq in the first place.

Toni again you've nailed it! Good job sweetie don't be discourage from those bottom feeders. you just keep up the good fight. Also you may think about composing a book of your verses and sell them at gift shops then give the proceeds to U S O or any organization that sends care packages to the troops abroad. You just can't imagine the joy that a troop gets when receiving those care packs from the home front! I'll see you latter, kiddo! Warchild!

Nice poem, but what about the millions of people not in the military who are serving the country in their own ways?

Personally, I am pretty tired of patriotism and duty to country being connected to military service.

Still, it is a pretty poem.

That was beautiful. From the rhyming to the message...wow. Thank you, Toni, for using your talent to encourage the troops.

Toni: That was absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing that with us! I am forwarding it (if you don't mind) to my son-in-law's brother in Iraq. My son-in-law is being deployed in September and I am sending it to him too (again, if you don't mind)!

I agree, my hero is also the American Soldier! They are the most courageous men and women on earth!

Brightest Blessings to you and yours!

EDIT: GROUNDWIRE: Thank you on behalf of my family and myself for your courageous sacrifices!

MURPHY: You are a turd.
