OK they didn't accept that Iraq was a hot bed of international terrorism with the power to kill everyone in 45 minutes. A viewpoint built on fact alone but tell me why do you hate the French? No-one will think badly of you if you repeat the fallacy that you saved them in two world wars.

I spoke with my recruiter and he was telling me about vacation while on active duty. He said that you get a month of vacation a year. I know that you can't go while in Boot Camp obviously, but can you go on vacation while on active duty?

Can you go abroad? I would love to go to Australia and the Carribean, could I do that?

Also, they said that you get discounts on Flights as a Marine, and they also said you can fly for free on US military flights, is any of that true?

Please shed light, I greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I graduate college in two years. I would love to enlist as an Intelligence officer in the Marine Corps. I understand that while in Boot Camp I will not have a social life, I can accept that.

But when I get out, and I move into my MOS as an officer, do I get a chance to go out on weeekends while on Active Duty? I know that if I was shipped overseas or into a conflict that I would not have a chance to, which is fine. However, how often could I expect to go out in a week or a month while in the US on Active Duty?

I'm wanting to go to West Point when I graduate high school and try to become part of the intelligence branch of the military(or something along those lines), but I have had some problems in the past and I want to know if it'll stop me? My mom put me counselling when I was 11 and I was put on zoloft. Now, I was only on it for not even a year before I stopped taking it. I cut for about about a year, but I have for the most part stopped that. I do have scars, but they should be gone by the time I apply. I also am bulimic at the moment, but thinking I have 3 years before I do graduate and I should be able to stop before then and get healthy. So, if nobody finds out about any of this and I'm not thrown in therapy or any stuff like that than I should be okay right? I mean they won't be able to stop me if they don't know about any of it...and if I'm fine at that time then I really won't have to tell them, will I? I know I've made some bad choices but will it ruin my chances?

The military is trying to be police officers in a religious war, they are held by certain rules of war. Mercenaries are not held by the same rules. stop going after the foot soldiers and lets go after the heads of the Taliban and A Q.
