When the government and press allow the military to do its job and allow the gloves to come off.

That's a critical issue that is being debated in congress right now. The just voted on a bill in congress for a troop withdrawal by April 1, 2008. Even though there were more votes to have troops withdrawn (including some Republicans who decided to change sides and stop supporting Bush), there weren't enough votes to override a veto from the President (which he so stubbornly decides uphold). So, Washington D.C. is currently waiting for a report to be made by General Petraeus (who is the Commanding Officer in Iraq now) concerning the the situation in Iraq, which is to be made this September.

There were 18 benchmarks set by the US government for progress made in Iraq, only of which 8 have satisfactory ratings, while the rest have either unsatisfactory or mixed ratings. On the good side, the US military is gaining cooperation and support by local tribe leaders who used to be fighting for al-Qaeda and against Coalition Forces.

So it's kinda difficult to figure out when the war is going to stop in Iraq. It'd be a lot easier for everyone if the terrorists stopped trying to bomb every inch of Iraqi soil there, then we can all pack up and come home. But with that happening, the President has no intent on returing anytime soon. If anything, I believe some sort of change in the winds will happen by the time of the Presidential elections being held in November of 2008, allowing our comrades in arms to return home.

When will the war in Iraq end. On one hand you have the bulk of the Iraq population who stood in line at the polls during the elections taking mortar fire. 70% of the population voted. You have a people who want the yoke of oppression thrown off and are willing to work with our country and the Brits to do so. On the other hand you have a small group of insurgents, relatively speaking, who clearly understand that the liberal elements in America and Britian will do what they themselves can not do in a military sense. Cause a few daily casulties in this battle and the Americans and the Brits will cut and run. (One must remember--losses in this struggle are no where close to Vietnam). It is unfortunate that there are so many of my countryman that do not realize the long term implications of their cut and run wishes. Yes, we will get out of Iraq--and that clear Victory for the Islamic militants will embolden them to go even further. Lose to them in Iraq, and we will lose simply by not having the will to fight this enemy to a conclusion-one will suspect that the twin towers will be just a small loss in what they have planned. We clearly have two choices--if Iraq becomes a free country with a democracy which beats off the insurgents (and remember this is what 90% of IRAQ wants) a blow will have been dealt to the Islamic militants--they can't win in their own backyard--imagine the support they lose. Or--America and Britian cut and run--the Islamic militants turn IRAQ into a terrorist state and defeat two powerful democracys--and the support and power they gain in the world will be inestimable. The choice is ours--make the easy choice or the hard choice.

The war was over.
Just blunders and slip-ups with human errors created back in the past being expose with time after the mystery of us-911.
With a new mess creeping out from the graveyards of failures and horrors of the past in making a mess with idol worshiping the dead Mummy in not worshiping God.
The blunders and slip-ups with human errors that got everyone at loss and blurr on what went wrong out there.
Leviticus 26.30-34
Have to wait for the yellow ribbon to come up in solving the mess out there.
Ever wonder how Mr. Tambourine man keep on telling us "Tie up a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree"
Ever wonder where are we going to find the old oak tree?
Go and kick the butts of those on "Star of 45' for making a mess out there.
Get them all to tie up a yellow ribbon and let our creator know we are coming home in worshiping God for the good of mankind.
Will see Humpty Dumpty had a great fall on his own.

If someone had the correct answer to this question, he would be wise indeed. Finding the means to end the war and bring our troops home is the major issue in the US political arena. My only suggestion is that in some way we must pressure the Iraqi government to start functioning and take up the responsibility that the Iraqi people voted to their representatives.

When the American people realize that the war is about corporations and huge profits, and not liberating Iraq.

I hope not too soon. I hate the war and have hated it from the start. But we will create the very thing that got us into the war if we just pull out. A terrorist state.

The fact of the matter is that we can't control violence over there. And if they were over here blowing themselves up, there would be very little we could do to stop it.

The answer is to close our borders, let Homeland sweep the nation, and we can live in peace here. Let the middle-east go to crap.

Technically, you are able to no longer quit the conflict because of the fact its a Sunni, Shitte, Kurds triangle conflicts. I wager 80% of the people dwelling interior the US do no longer even comprehend what the conflict is somewhat approximately.
