I am in the Marine Corps and have a DoD email (@usmc.mil), is there a way to access my account from home? Currently I can only check it at work, but I'm about to take extended leave and need access to my idiots...I mean junior marines.

We were attacked first! To lose the lives of over 3,000 of our own people and have nothing to show for it would be cowardly. We need to get on the side of our own safety. I think most people would agree with the previous sentence.

So I ask: WHY SHOULDN'T WE BE IN A WAR WITH IRAQ? And if we pull our troops out, what sort of repurcusions could there be, if any?

Please keep your answers somewhat short.

I know i Want to join the NAVY , i want Benifits and have a future. I know im a little Over weight and im on alli Weight Loss thing i already lost 15 Pounds, anyway

Im 17 , i weight 215 actually. Im 5 foot 11. and i don't care what their standards are . Im more confident that i will get an excellent score on the PT Test, i dont care what anybody thinks, i just want an opinion.

Also i am 101St AirBorne , which means I was BORN on a MILITARY BASE , at Fort Campble TN. ( Because half of the base is across the border of Kentucky for some reason half is TN half is KY)

Also I seen Basic Videos on YouTUBE of actual Basic Training Stuff. I know its a challenge, But if i was the Only Female that won at a Drill Rifle Competition out of the Pus Male Team, then yes i know i can.

I would also like for your opinion on this,

What do you think.

P.S. my older Sis is already in the NAVY she is a E-4 because she was in JROTC for 4 Years.

Also I don't want to hear..........

i have a question about the minimum a person can weigh in order to enlist. i am a female i'm 5'8" and i weigh 114lbs. the minimum weight for my height is 125lbs. do i have to meet the minimum weight to get on DEP or is it just to leave for boot. i also read that if you are within 5% of the minimum weight you can still go to boot you will just receive double portions for meals. is this true?

He's in AIT right now, and got his first set of orders for a 1 year unaccompanied tour (go figure). Is there ANY way that he can go to a different base, like in Yongsan, where you can PCS your family? He is only 2 years active duty, then goes to reserve. I'm thinking that's why he's going on an unaccompanied tour. If he changes his contract to 6 years active, can he get his orders changed? If anyone knows of ANY way, I'd love to hear from you. Please, only serious, kind answers.

Okay, I'm sick of everyones BULLSHIT in my life right now....and I want to join the service, either the Marines, or U.S Army... I know the Marines have a longer bootcamp then the Army. Tell me your opinions on both the marines and army, and the pros and cons.

Which would you suggest I join?

Either way, I'm joining the Amry or Marines. So don't try and answer with Navy or AF, because I'm not joining that ****

I know that the only son thing is not in play anymore, but they do put people into non-combat zones for health reasons if they do get drafted.

I am flat-footed and I have Exercise Induced Asthma; would that cause me to be placed into a non-combat zone? (If I were to get drafted)

I was providing care for a son of a military person. It didn't work out and I had to tell the parents I couldn't watch their son. It ended with the child out of control and the child broke our dvd player and our fan. Prior to the child starting, the parents and I signed a contract and it clearly states that if something were to break that was not an accident they are responsible. These people are being harrassing and I don't feel comfortable with speaking to them. Is it worth it to find out his commanding officer to have them replace the dvd player and fan? I know what he does in the military and what base he works at, but I wouldn't know how to find out his commanding officer. Any help would be great. Thank you.

I was in the Army Security Agency, in the mid to late 1950's, and the early 1960's ! ( I have been told that the old A.S.A. no longer exists) I went to where it never existed, did what never happened, at a time that wasn't, and we supported ALL military activities, especially us on the ground !!!!! I am EXTREMLY PROUD TO HAVE TWO (2) HONORABLE DISCHARGES !!! Since I am well over the age of proficiency in hand to hand, have fought 8 tumors and had 1 heart attack, and 1 bout of massive blood hemorage, I, several years ago, acquired a Remington rifle, in .308 , equiped it with a good 4 X 16 scope, had it accurized to put 5 rounds into 5 inches @ 1000 yards, and keep "enough" rounds for my comfort!!! My question is : How many of us old vet's are ready to do what is necessary, to defend this / our country ??? I know 99.999 percent will, the question is , by count, how many??? 1, 2, 3 million?? Any one have an educated guess??

Chief of staff admits no reserves left to carry on fight in Iraq & Afghanistan. Those we have are at breaking point. So where do we go from here?. Do you think conscription is now necessary?. Who should be the first to be called up?
