I know i Want to join the NAVY , i want Benifits and have a future. I know im a little Over weight and im on alli Weight Loss thing i already lost 15 Pounds, anyway

Im 17 , i weight 215 actually. Im 5 foot 11. and i don't care what their standards are . Im more confident that i will get an excellent score on the PT Test, i dont care what anybody thinks, i just want an opinion.

Also i am 101St AirBorne , which means I was BORN on a MILITARY BASE , at Fort Campble TN. ( Because half of the base is across the border of Kentucky for some reason half is TN half is KY)

Also I seen Basic Videos on YouTUBE of actual Basic Training Stuff. I know its a challenge, But if i was the Only Female that won at a Drill Rifle Competition out of the Pus Male Team, then yes i know i can.

I would also like for your opinion on this,

What do you think.

P.S. my older Sis is already in the NAVY she is a E-4 because she was in JROTC for 4 Years.

Also I don't want to hear..........

You had better care about standards because we in the Navy sure do care about them. If you don't meet Navy standards then there is no need for you to waste our and your time. Keep working toward your goal and hopefully you will make it. When you meet our standards you will be welcomed to join us. Your future in the Navy depends on how hard YOU work. We want winners with a goal in life - not losers who think that we will give them something for nothing. Your older sister will continue to be your best source of information and advice. You know she is going to give you the "straight skinny" on what you need to do to qualify for enlistment. Good luck to you in your efforts to join the finest and most powerful Navy the world has ever seen (Sorry Brits but its the truth).

Well, its great that you have to motivation to join the Navy. Despite what you may do on the PST test you must still weigh in at the Navy Standards. Either meet the weight requirement or get taped for body fat. The max percentage of body fat a female can have in the navy is 33 %.
Second, the 101st airborne thing. Thats a title that people earn. Just because you were born on a base doesn't make you airborne and doesn't give you an advantage over the next person trying to join the navy.

Last thing.. about the rotc. the highest you can come in the navy as is an E-3. So maybe your sister got advanced out of
a-school but it is impossible to come in as an E-4 unless you have prior serivce from another branch of the military.

Just go vist your local recruiter and they can tell you all the same things i'm telling you here.

Where are you getting your information that the Navy Reserves are getting less than McDonalds?
How can you claim you are 101st Airborne? You are a dependent or was a dependent! (Did your Daddy retire from the Military?)
Work on losing the weight and ease off on the attitude!

Can you do( Army APFT standards) 50 push-ups,50 sit-ups in 2 minutes? Can you run 2 miles in 12 -15 minutes? If you can ,then you are good to go!
Hooah!
Give it a rest! You are too eager! Get too cocky and I guarantee that you will catch hell in Boot Camp!

FYI: FT.Campbell is officially in Kentucky! despite part of the Post is in Tennessee!

Weight standard for a female who is 71" tall is the following:
Minimum:122 pounds
Maximum:
Age 17-20: 167 pounds
Age 21-26: 172 pounds
Anything above that is disqualifying for enlistment or appointment.

Navy boot camp is not that hard physically. Close to 90% of people make it through, and the ones that quit do so because they can't handle it mentally. Just pushups, situps, and running. Minimal standards. Probably something like 25 pushups in 2 minutes, 35 situps in 2 minutes, and 1.5 mile run in 13-14 minutes. Most of boot camp is spent getting people to follow orders on a dime, and learning to follow rules and regulations.

Rifle drill experience would put you in a performance division at boot camp. You would perform at graduations.

first off you arent 101st airborne you a dependent only active duty in that unit can claim this and you are not.

2nd lose the nasty attitude and some weight you wont meet weight requirements

3rd being in the navy you wont do a bit of actual fighting unless your a naval pilot all the navy does is protect the waters from attack

4th what you have seen on you tube is not the real boot camp. its intense and grueling they will ear you down literally

e-4s are nothing in the navy that is a low rank the only field in the navy that an e-4 is anything is the nuke program and you cant get into it your a female

SLOW DOWN chick.

YOU are NOT 101st Airborne. only active duty service members who have been through the training required can say they are. All you are is a Military Brat, nothing more, nothing less.

YuouTube is hardly a credible source of information,. And it really doesn't matter one iota what YOU think, it's what the Navy Standards are.. and you MUST make Weight before you can ship. end of subject. even if you Max out on the PRT scores. your max weight is 181 pounds. period.

You can't have your cake and eat it too.. either you want our opinions, or you don't. there is no not caring what anyone thinks but asking for their opinions anyway.
