well i read your( as Americans) opinions and it's to show you our (as Iraqis) opinions, if you think that you are our enemy so you have to be sure that its wrong, your enemy and our enemy are the same, ( Al Qaida, Al Saddr,...) are our enemy (as Americans and Iraqis), you have to remember that we paid alot for this war more than you did, and both of us want this war to be having an end.... YOU ARE OUR FRIENDS, by the way i like the troops alooooot in Iraq.

OK I'm sure these answers will vary but the answer is so simple even though I don't know all of the truth no one does
although the truth is leaking slowly. First of all Saddam Hussein was probably involved with many Taliban including osama bin laden but the us government takes small truths
and turns them into big lies my Friend. Bin laden or other Taliban might have traded drugs guns but not wmds or plans for war on the us. Face it Iraq was pre planned for economical gain The Taliban are stronger today than ever
what is really required is special forces to hunt down the Taliban Not a major campaign to create a stable democracy?

No Iraqi's took part in 911, so the only reason the US has invaded Iraq is for control of oil and wealth (in the guise of fighting terrorism). Bush #1 couldn't do it, so Bush #2 wanted his kick at the can. The Iraqi issue has nothing to do with preserving US safety/security.
We are losing our finest lads for oil and money, and people are arguing about the need to 'win the war'. They're hiding behind misguided words like 'cowardly' and 'unpatriotic' while they ignore the real issues and their own common sense. Bring them home so that no more of our valiant troops die in order to line someone's pockets.
Troops should've never gone into Iraq in the first place.

Because NONE of the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 were from (or ever even IN) Iraq!!! Sadam didn't even have the means to attack Israel (which is a GOOD thing- or Israel would've wipe the country off the map!)- a close neighboring Country! We have NO legitimate REASON for ever going TO, Invading, or staying- in Iraq. And the LONGER we stay- the MORE troops WILL DIE- as proof we make a TERRIBLE mistake!!! :0

we are NOT AT WAR with Iraq ....
( we ARE at war IN Iraq however)
heavens No wonder we're not getting anywhere .. when people think like you.
NO IRAQIS attacked you.. troops were sent to Iraq to over-throw saddam and Liberate the people (IF YOU WANT TO BELIEVE THAT B.S) ... WE are training Iraqi police and Military and we are supporting the New Iraqi Government ..
who we are fighting in Iraq are the insurgents who really don't want us there .. AND terrorists we have made it easier for them to exist in Iraq as we created a power vacuum
NOT the general Iraqi people ..
SORRY my answer was not very short .. BUT perhaps you'd learn more by reading longer answers.

the 3000 people who died in America had little to nothing to do with Iraq. here is why-
Saddam Hussein was VERY anti- al qaeda , and actually kept his country very secure and tight in terms of keeping terrorists out. He did not support terrorists, and neither did his government.
In fact, Saddam was probably one of the biggest enemies of Bin Laden in the region- as opposed to Saudi Arabia, which even now has a large population of very rich people in open financial support of terrorist actions, and openly allied with the United States.
Afganistan on the other hand, was a supporter of terrorists. and we went in there, and we killed at least 30,000 people.
Iraq was a separate war- it has nothing to do with terrorists, only with the idea of evil- that Saddam Hussein was evil, according to several people, and therefore he should be attacked, and his country invaded and taken control of.
ONE MORE THING-
as for your second question- if we pull our troops out, i suppose there would be open civil war in Iraq, because the region is and has been unstable for a long time. therefore, although I never agreed with the invasion, I'm not sure about the solution.
Maybe we should enlist some help from Saudi Arabia.

I thought we already came to the conclusion that 9/11 and Iraq had nothing to do with each other?? And what does bringing democracy to Iraq have to do with justifying their lives?? I know there had to be repercussions after 9/11, but I'm just not a fan of occupying another country and fighting an asymmetric war.

We're actually not at war with Iraq, we're fighting al qaeda there. Al Qaeda leaders have said several times that the center of the war on terror is there and that's why they don't want to give up the hold they have over that region.
Now that we have captured the main al qaeda leader in Iraq and have found out that the "civil war" was a hoax, I think it further supports the lead we have on this global war.
And to answer your last question, pulling out would possibly cause the same kind of massacre that happened when we pulled out of Vietnam. Coincidentally, we were winning the war there too when they quit funding the war. It might happen the same way if they vote to defund this war.

The terrorists in 9/11 had no connection to Iraq or Saddam. The majority of them were from Saudi Arabia.
In war the 1st casualty is always the truth.
Scuttlebutt has it that we are actually fighting a war somewhere else. Iraq is just a scam to explain the absence of so many troops who should be in America.
President Bush may be my commander in chief, and I respect him, but, I hav'nt believed a word he said since the 2000 election.

We unconstitutionally, illegally, unjustifiably and immorally attacked another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States. We are NOT in Iraq to bring democracy to that country; we are NOT there to defend our nation from an 'evil empire'; we are NOT there to establish peace in the Middle East. The 9-11 'terrorist' attack was a ruse that gave the Bushites an excuse to attack Iraq for two reasons: OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. That's all this insane war has ever been about. -RKO- 07/20/07
