I'm in AZ and he is deployed. She is trying to get Grandparent's rights, based on the fact, that she doesn't like me. She has said she will do whatever it takes to split us up and take our son from the both of us. The women is psychotic, prank calling me, telling her own son who is deployed he is dead to her because he screwed up and married me! Now, the question... Who do i contact in the military to find some way to get to the location in which he is stationed before he comes back? I know he was supposed to take care of it. I just need to know how to get out of AZ and to AK so i can get away from this bs. Our marriage and family is being threatened and we want to be away from it all... Please help me. I am only 19 and am taking care of my son alone while my husband is away, as if that wasn't enough stress this woman is seriously trying to sabotage our family.

I was talking to a man currently in the Military { no I am not going to say his name } and I asked him - Why are all soldiers in the U.S. Military not trained as Navy Seals ? After all one would think they would be unstoppable .

He then looked at me as though he was thinking , then looked away and calmy said - Unstoppable indeed but if all U.S. soldiers were trained as Navy Seals wars would end alot quicker .

Question - What are your thoughts on this ?

President bush knows that he is losing the support of the americans because of the war. Why won't he listen to his people and pull out the soldiers? Even if it's a few of them.

I was reading an article on CNN regarding a fear that the Army and Marines might "collapse" if we don't leave Iraq in the near future. How exactly does a military force collapse? Do the soldiers refuse to deploy and abandon the bases en masse? I'm confused.

With all our military stretched all over the world and cut back to our military we are weak, yes we've have nukes but we would only use them if we get nuked. Just say Putin decides to tame the British lion by invading British soil. Would NATO really run to our aid, treaties aren't worth the paper they are written on, other NATO country's could start to distance them self from Britain if the diplomatic row with Russia and Britain lengthens.
I'm not paranoid but I live in a remote part of Scotland, and there's uneasiness a sixth sense sort feeling I guess that somethings afoot, but I've been talking to some old timers and they had this feeling during early years of World war 2?

my ex husband is in the Army my husband is in the Navy. A year ago my ex sent threatening messages to him (we weren't married at that time) we went to the police and they said they couldn't do anything because ex was overseas. Who do we need to talk to about him threatening him. Because things have not improved and ex thinks he is getting away scott free and has made verbal threats to my husband. We have copies of the threats he made to begin with because he sent them through the myspace message center. We aren't sure of who to talk to because when I talked to his CO he siad we would have to wait until he was back in town and just gave him a slap on the wrists for it. Now we aren't sure who to ask or where to go. Any suggestions? Also is it too late for us to do anything since it was almost a year ago? We live in Kansas if it helps. Thanks.

One of my friends asked me if there is a foreign national military base in the US. I told him no, but I’m not to sure if that is the right answer. Is there a foreign military base i the US? It would seem fair since we have bases all over the world.

My friend is getting a Administrative Discharge from the Navy. My questions are how is this considered compared to Dishonorable and honorable discharges? Also how long will it take for the paperwork to go threw? They told her 2-6 weeks but I doubt that they will leave her sitting in her A-School barracks for a month and a half. Also I heard from some other people that she could still get her G.I. money for school, what is the story on that. Thanks for any help you can give.

Army forces help local pro-government police, paramilitary, and military forces perform counterinsurgency, area security, or local security operations. They advise and assist in finding, dispersing, capturing, and destroying the insurgent force.

I am going to be graduating college with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I am considering law enforcement as a career, however I am thinking about the Coast Guard as well. Does the Coast Guard have Military Police, like the Army and Navy does? If so, could anyone who knows about the coast guard or is in the coast guard tell me about them? Also, how hard would it be to be placed in that law enforcement position, and would my degree help me?

Thank you all very much

I am tried of hearing people complain about our troops or say they don't support them! It is one thing to not support the war but you have to support the troops with out them we don't have any rights, they die for in vain sometimes in justice and without them this country wouldn't be the same.

Ever since High School I've been thinking about joining the Air Force since it provides excellent training, good educational benefits, health benefits, and if I work hard I can retire while still relatively young. However, everyone I knew always said not to join the military, so I put it off.

However, I recently had my first child (she's about 6mo old), and so I'm thinking about it again since it provides a lot of security for her. Plus, and least I would get training and educational assistance that'll help me with a career outside the military, and at most it could turn into a career.

I'm just scared that I might be jumping into something without really thinking about it, so can anyone give me advice? Like, should I wait till she's older? Or what would be the pros and cons for me joining? Should I do it at all?

Source: Observed a decal on his vehicle (I support the war/troops) He had two adult children with him. ( About 18 to 20 Yrs) I stated "Thank You" for supporting the war". He shook my hand. I told him I'm a Veteran from 1969. He smiled. Then I said "I want you to send you children to Iraq and make President Bush happy". His smile turned to a sour look like he was eating a fresh lemon. He said "I am a proud Republican and I support the war as long as other young men serve in the war. My children are going to college. My children have too much going for them". With that he looked at me with disgust and walked away. A true Republican?
