I am going to be graduating college with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I am considering law enforcement as a career, however I am thinking about the Coast Guard as well. Does the Coast Guard have Military Police, like the Army and Navy does? If so, could anyone who knows about the coast guard or is in the coast guard tell me about them? Also, how hard would it be to be placed in that law enforcement position, and would my degree help me?

Thank you all very much

The Coast Guard doesn't HAVE Military Police, the Coast Guard ARE Military Police.

The Coast Guard is an excellent choice for someone with a criminal science degree as the primary function of the Coast Guard is law enforcement. While I served in the Navy, I have many friends that were in the Coast Guard.
