with all the wars america has won & lost I would have thought that they should be pretty damn good at it by now. extremists with ak47 rifles & car bombs have stalled an army that feeds off billions of dollars worth of research & technology. The troops seem to be able to do a good job but it doesn't look like american military planners know what they are doing

Do you have to salute or can you take orders from a person of higher rank from the navy, army, Marine corp or Coast Guard?

So its obvious that there are Insurgents other than Iraqis fighting in Iraq by now, whether you support Bush or not you cant deny that fact. If Iraq cant be "won" in terms that people were expecting then it cant be won, but in the mean time all of those against the US are flocking to Iraq. I liked the metaphor someone used on here a couple minutes ago, Iraq is a sh!thole, and all the flys are going right to it.

Is it now good that all of our enemys in the area are flocking to one place, where we are able to kill them all? America might not "win" the War, but they sure are taking care of alot of our enemies arent they? Can people against the War even deny that?

I feel nervous, even though I think they will be okay with my choice. But how did you all? Did you come home after 13 weeks, or 8 weeks in a new uniform, and say hey guess what. Thanks.

I just dont understand why some parents encourage their kids to join the military, knowing they'll probabily die.

Is it because they love their country more than their kids?
Is it because they want to save money during the holidays with one less person to buy a gift for?
Is it because they are so ashamed at their kids that they'd just rather have them die, instead of finding a real job?

while in the process of a divorce his now ex wife destroyed everything mlitary he had. Here is my question is there any way he can obtain copies of his discharge certificate and others from the military? He has his actual discharge papers but he really cherished his certificates and other honors and I would love to be able to give him that piece of his life back. Please help. Thank you.

I live between 2 Airforce bases, and I have seen at least 2 military planes flying together each day. Today, however, there are military helicopters flying overhead. I have seen 5 so far, is it the same as the planes (just traveling between bases)? Or is something wrong?

It pisses me off that Bush is screaming support the troops yet when some one requests to see him about her or his dead son/daughter he reply's," no " and gives his apologys threw proxy via a representitive.
