That is by far the most amazing question I have ever seen. Iraq's borders are by in large undefined. The few city border crossings are notoriously porous and can usually be bypassed and are consistently by smugglers and military personnel.

On top of that... our border patrol agents can't keep people out of an area that they know by heart. They are totally ineffective and the laughing stock of the US govt. services.
Why in the world would they send them somewhere where they don't know the language or terrain when they can't make it work when the do know the language and terrain.

No!!!! They are not sending U.S. border patrol agents to Iraq

I hope not. If they have any agents to spare we need 'em in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.

If I were a Border Patrol agent I would definitely not volunteer to go to Iraq. (Besides the dangers of the mission there are cultural issues beyond belief.)
