So its obvious that there are Insurgents other than Iraqis fighting in Iraq by now, whether you support Bush or not you cant deny that fact. If Iraq cant be "won" in terms that people were expecting then it cant be won, but in the mean time all of those against the US are flocking to Iraq. I liked the metaphor someone used on here a couple minutes ago, Iraq is a sh!thole, and all the flys are going right to it.
Is it now good that all of our enemys in the area are flocking to one place, where we are able to kill them all? America might not "win" the War, but they sure are taking care of alot of our enemies arent they? Can people against the War even deny that?

It's more than that. We are creating a situation that Islam can't hide. People in Islam are asking questions. A revolution has begun that even the most vicious attempts to silence it will fail.
Islam will embrace freedom and religious tolerance. It may survive (I hope it does). My family fled Islam in the 1950s. We've been expecting this war for some time.
Islam seeks the domination of the world. President Bush caught them before they were ready. Either they succeed soon, or they will never have another chance.
Not with the eyes of the world aware and watching their takeovers of African and S.E. Asian countries (and maybe France?).
It's too late for the Islamic dictatorships. They can't hide from free speech.

this might in simple terms be between the comments formerly something is finalized. as nicely, a troop withdrawal does not advise we are leaving Iraq completely. we can nonetheless be in touch in education Iraqi troops and operations against Al Qaida. Even the Democrats approve of that. we are unlikely everywhere for some destiny years, that i can assure you.

I'm sure that the fine folks over in Iraq might not think it's such a good idea.
Small consolation when you say "we didn't win the war but its good to know that all our enemies are flocking to one place".
Unfortunately you aren't able to kill them all. They seem to be taking their toll on the Americans.
Oh yeah....and by the way, there's more of your enemies in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Yemen etc......the list keeps growing.
So yeah......I can deny that but if you think its a good war and that you're coming out ahead.....whatever helps you sleep at night.

The hard left will deny and if some do agree they will say if we were not "occupying" Iraq the insurgents would not becoming. ( We are not occupying Iraq we are still their under the Democratically elected government's request now)
They do not remember all of the bombings of our embassies, naval ships, and the 2 terrorists attacks on the world trade center.
Some of them actually believe that we did something to make the extreme Muslims hate us, when in fact it is their twisted version of their religion that is doing it.
I do not know why they do not understand that you cannot have a peace treaty with a religious terrorists group, they simply do not keep their word.

as a former army medic who has spent extensive time in iraq let me adress your question. when we first went into iraq the citizens would come running into the streets to greet us, the children especially. but as time has progressed it has become increasingly apparent that the us government has no viable plan for success, hell, it has become apparent that we had no reason to go there in the first place. the iraqis have learned that we are not there to protect them or to spread democracy, rather we are ther to line the pockets of big us business.

If we shovel through all of the rhetoric and bs, we will either win this war or we will accept the Islamic terrorists' demands.
If the liberals who have adopted a policy of defeat have another viable alternative instead of their incessant criticism, I certainly haven't seen nor heard it.
Telling the enemy when we are going to leave or an immediate withdrawal, telling the enemy that we have lost the war or constantly whining about staying on the high ground while fighting these demented dirt bags are not viable alternatives.

The only problem is that there isn't a set number of enemies. The number grows faster than what the US kills therefore it's pointless.

I support and have always supported our troupes in Iraq. That country needs some cleaning up and fast. I do not want this to be another Vietnam. We have already won what we went there for. Saddam. What a piece of crap he and his families were and are.
We need a BIG fly Swatter and get to using it now.
