Is someone trying to take the other countries nuclear weapons?? There are 30 current countries that have nuclear weapons.
I do not think the US should take others but I do think we should stop rogue nations like Korea & Iran from getting nuclear weapons. They would not hesitate to use them - a.k.a. their statement that they would blow Isreal & the USA off the face of the Earth.

No. There are eight countries that have successfully tested/detonated nuclear weapons; the US, Russia, France, China, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India and North Korea. Many believe that Israel may be the ninth, but it this is not known definitively.

No. There are several nations in the "Nuclear Club" -- the US, the UK, Russia, France, China, India, Pakistan, and North Korea are all declared members. South Africa and Israel are non declared, but strongly suspected. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Russians tried to collect up all their nukes, but I suspect a good number of them are in the hands of the governments of several of the Former Soviet Republics.

No. France, UK, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. The last two i'm sure have hidden weapons that they don't want any one to know about. That's why North Korea is leting UN inspector's come in because they have hidden plants and weapons that the inspector's wont find so they might as well "look good" to the world.

The problem is that if these small countries with Terrorist get a hold of a nuclear weapon they won't hesitate to use it. Guess where it is pointed at.

There are 8 countries that have nuclear capabilities. But, do we admit to having nuclear weapons? I dont think so. Does RedStone Arsenal have them? I think so. I think that all 8 countries have nuclear weapons.

I use to work with nuclear warheads in Germany back in the mid 80's. .......oh yea, I was at RSA Alabama too.

No, but I also don't put my own ideology above that of my country's interests. I understand completely why other countries might want their own nuclear weapons.

Doesn't mean we have to make it easy on them.

Doesn't even mean we shouldn't make it hard for them.

It's not in our interest for other countries to have them. Why? Do you think we owe them to let them have them? Even the one's who have openly said they seek our destruction?

That would be insane!

no, this isn't an opinion question. Russia has 600 more nukes than the US (5600 or so). UK, Pakistan, and India i believe also have a few devices.
