I live between 2 Airforce bases, and I have seen at least 2 military planes flying together each day. Today, however, there are military helicopters flying overhead. I have seen 5 so far, is it the same as the planes (just traveling between bases)? Or is something wrong?

just be glad that they are "flying" over your house, and not flying into your house.

Air Force Jets ALWAYS Fly in a 2 ship or 4 ship Formation - thats standard operation / Helicopters on base also happens from time to time

i live in bh too but i was sleeping when it happened. my friends heard the huge boom noise/shake during school. they said the whole school heard it. i didnt hear cuz i was sleeping but i do remember waking exactly at 12 pm and then again at 1pm. my other friend said he actually saw the helicopters and he got a picture. i'll post it soon. he said that their were apaches black hawks and Chinooks dozens of them in triangle formation. theres only a picture of two Chinooks though. maybe an explosion exercise. oh maybe the govt are just being hush hush about it, maybe a ufo crash landing. or a possible attack from terrorists. LA is huge. do you remember what direction they went. like towards the beach or dowtown or mountains? what else did you see? what did u hear when the huge boom noise?

same here...i live in CA and about 30 minutes from a USMC base and everyday they fly over the area. most of the time it's just them going from base to base and nothing serious

I'm sure only they would know and wouldn't divulge that info, but since you live between 2 bases it's probably something unimportant. Maybe they're moving something? I live near one myself and see them all the time.

They could have a squadrin that is going to deploy soon and so they area doing more training - not to worry, just make sure that everything in your house is secure.

Everything is fine they're just doing training maneveours and you see them because your house is in the flight plan.

i doubt anything's wrong. they are probably just doing routine tests to see if they are working fine or training pilots
