So many people on here are trying to figure out creative new ways to beat speeding tickets in court or claim the officer was breaking the law, in the wrong or just plain stupid for issuing it that I thought this might be a fun question to ask so we can point and laugh at the speed demons.

I live in a "no-fault" state. That means; who ever caused the accident, it does not matter. But when there is an accident, the police shut-down the road around the accident for hours and hours, measuring, taking photos, etc. - JUST so they can find out who caused the accident, and write them a ticket and HOW the accident happen.

Traffic is backed up for miles, for hours. Cars crashed, people got hurt, people died. Pull the cars OUT OF THE ROAD, write your reports, and move on with life.

So no one got a ticket. SO WHAT!!!

I just purchased a model 360 scandium .357 for concealed carry and wondered what other owners thought of this awesome little gun. i'm going to shoot target with .38 +p and run .357 mags with concealed carry. i've actually shot derringers with .357 so it's not that crazy to run that round in the 360. also concerning frame strength and reliability -s&w has guaranteed me that this gun will stand up to .357 mag rounds as long as you can take it and then some. also i put a hogue monogrip installed before i even took it home. trigger pull feels great even out of the box.. any ideas on holsters -i like the synthetic variety -shoulder carry and possibly other carry. any input well appreciated-thanx.

If personx steals a prescription pad from a doctors office as a past employee and has an intent to forge a prescription, fill it and then sell the controlled substance, what would be the legal charge if there is one? The stealing of the pad is actually the only thing (that I know of) that occurred. But there was intent as personx told another person what they were going to do and that person went to the medical practice and reported it. What should the medical practice do in this case?

I don't mean music and talk show radio, I mean radio as is the communcations device used by police, firemen, security companies, and major corporations. There are so many terms and different kinds of frequencies, it's hard to understand. I want to understand how radio works, and how to interpret information on sites like radioreference.com. I am attempting to program a Radio Shack Pro-97 Scanner, and understand for the most part what the manual tells me but I have learned that there is much more to it. Any info or good websites to go to, or books to read would be greatly appreciated.

I have the utmost respect for the police and the law, and I always have. At one time I had a police officer as a roommate for a few months. I am just curious, since the police are treated so badly and underpaid, why would someone want to be one? Ways they are treated badly include:

--They are underpaid for doing such a risky job, as their lives are in potential danger every day they work.
--A lot of people have no respect for them.
--They can easily go to prison for killing someone in self-defense and having lack of evidence to prove it, and being considered racist.

Aside from the authority, is there any other good reason? Doing good for society is a positive aspect as well, but all these negative reasons seem to outway the positive. I wouldn't mind being a police officer myself, but as badly as they are treated, I never will. Another benefit includes being able to have an all-state concealed weapons permit (CWP) while offduty and after retirement.

We are still waiting for the DNA test to come back. The person who raped me is still working in that hospital and works in an isolated room alone with the patients. Now, I haven't been able to get much help or information.

Today, I contacted my State Representative and she is contacting the states attorneys office. Is this something that should have been done in the beginning of the investigation?? How can they help and what will they do to help me?? Will they help to get him out of the hospital and away from patients?? Any extra info. you can give is appreciated?

and they said they wouldn't hire me because of race, and the phone company records it like they do all calls, can that tape ever be given from the phone company if this is taken to court? I understand that the phone company records all calls. Would this tape hold up in the court of law?

i live in a dfw. driving through the skid row area where all the homeless gravitate during the government's crack down on terrorist money channeling, i began noticing a larger proportion of arabics in this area. from there dress they looked as if they had lived well until recently. my suspicion being that their funds and contacts had been removed suddenly and now found themselves abandoned in america. what are the cues the public can look for that indicate restructuring and resurgence of terrorist cells within our communities?

Did you know we are the only country left, other that the middle eastern countries that allow there citizens to have guns? Do you think that Americans should lose there right to have guns? Do you think that anyone who was convicted of a felony should lose there right to have a gun? Would you give up your guns and weapons if the troops knocked on the door to take them away?

So I got pulled over, I had my license and registration ready, he went back to his vehicle....didn't say "do you know why I pulled you over?" He just asked for license registration...then came back minutes later and said "My radar gun caught you going 76mph in a 55mph. I just need you to sign here that you understand.blahblahh, You have 10 days to comply, here is the court address."

The total fine was $159. But it had a bunch of additional charge bull crap on it. Fine: $67, MCARE: $35, E.M.S. $25 and some others on there which I have no idea what those additional charges are.

I wasn't reckless driving, it was a 2-lane highway, maybe 2 cars on the road within 1/4 mile of me. I want to dispute the citation but no Phone Number was provided or a scheduled date. He just said 10 days which I doubt is accurate or logged.

I want to reschedule the court date for another week or two to lessen the chances that the cop will actually show, and the citation will be dismissed.

Advice?
