I think they look interesting. I like the idea of them, but know little about them.

I thought it was Curtis Sliwa, but it's been a while.
They aren't out there to be cops or kick butt. They are a
presence, and most crooks look for opportunity where no one is walking around with a radio to report suspicious persons/activities.

There's abook by dr. Bob Glaze called A Historical and Phophetic Study Angels. They have it on special at Southwest Radio Church,(SWRC.com) It explains them all.
Do you know about the group that started in New York by the same name. They took to the streets to protect peope from crime without guns or any protection.

I think only one was shot and is still alive. They are all over the country now. The founder stands in for sean hannity on Fox sometimes. The fact that they made a difference in rapes, murders,... is incredible read about them, but they had Guardian Angels just as we all do. They are there. There was a missionary in Africa and a witch doctor and warriors went to kill her and stopped outside and then left, later they said the giant white winged men on her house scared them and they never bothered her again. Many stories in the states also. Look up Rev. John Hagee and gunman. Take care.

Yes, they are! In Cape Town in South Africa 4 Guardian Angels reduced housebreakings by 42% in 4 months, and in another suburb they reduced prostitution by about 75% in 6 months. In all their areas of deployment they have a huge impact on drugs and crime. Surprised that there are Guardian Angels in Africa? Dont be! They are in over 100 cities in about 11 countries at present. I am surprised you guys dont know about them.

if we are talking about Louis Silva and the guardian angels were very effective in halting crime in the early 70's and 80's. do not know if Silva still in charge but the group took on a lot of clout and lost it when some were not screened and i believe a death or two resulted from one of the Silva' members and they were sued and disbanded in the 90"s only to resurface again in the 90"s?

They do know how to beat innocent people though! I went on a call one time where they beat a resident of an apartment complex for trespassing because the resident didn't feel he had to show an ID card to a non officer.

They mean well, but they are unarmed citizens. They make decent bodyguards, and that's about it.
