and they said they wouldn't hire me because of race, and the phone company records it like they do all calls, can that tape ever be given from the phone company if this is taken to court? I understand that the phone company records all calls. Would this tape hold up in the court of law?

Phone companies do not record phone calls. That is silly and absurd. Even if you had recorded it yourself it would be inadmissable in court since you didn't get permission to record the call. Get over it, find another job.

First.......... NO ONE can record your calls with out a court order or with out your knowledge.

And the phone company does not record all or any calls.

Third.... with out a court order, no recorded telephone conversations are court admissible.

its possible. Your lawyer would have to find a way to get the tape and use it as evidence but the company might not want to release it since it'll affect them.
