The ticket was issued in Arkansas and I was trying to make it to my friend's house while she was still home for her lunch hour so I could feed and change my 2 week old son. I was polite, nicely dressed, wearing my seatbelt and accepted the fact that I was speeding when the ticket was issued. I've been driving since I was 16 and never had a ticket. I don't know how the system works. What do I do, to possibly get the speed lessened or perhaps thrown out altogether? What is the best way to handle this responsibly?

So my "best friend" a guy friend that I have known and talked to many times over the past year tells me that if I do not have sex with him tomorrow, he is going to tell a guy I like that I am a filthy whore and send him a letter which will destroy me. He says in order for him not to send the letter, I must dye my hair and look really sexy for him. He called me fat. i only weigh 110 pounds!! I don't want to lose my dream guy over this.....if he reads the letter he will believe it.....because he believes all the rumors said about me. Should I go to the police?

I am planning a neighborhood watch for my community.
What are some ways to go about this? I want to make it a very successful neighborhood watch.

To what extent should the police be involved? My community has 400 residents. What ways should I go about getting interest in the community?

To what extent should residents be involved? Should we have leaders or a neighborhood watch committee or block captains?

Police officers, if you have any experience in setting up a program such as this please help.

Likewise, if anyone else lives in a community with a neighborhood watch, please share your ideas.

Last night some guys kicked in my door and tried to rob me with knifes. It turned out I used a pair of scissors to keep them away from me and eventually they left and the police caught them a few blocks away. I have some pistol models in mind but would perfer to hear from experienced gun handlers, thanks.

I got a $50 fine for fare evasion on the Buffalo Metro. On the ticket, the officer wrote the wrong location down (which I can prove), and the wrong SSN. This is also the first time I have been cited for it. I have a hearing set for Tuesday, and have a few questions:
First, is the information I have above enough to get out of the fine?
Second, if the officer does not show up, do I automatically get off?
Third, will this offense go on a criminal record? And would I be able to get it expunged somehow?

I have recentley been done for drink driving.
My reading was 0.107. I have had no previos convitions in Queensland though I was convicted of drink driving in NSW over 8 years ago.

The police just called my mother looking for me, said i missed a court appearance for unpaid parking tickets in march that i completely forgot about. Mom said to call the police officer but I don't want the officer to arrest me before i get a chance to pay the ticket and whatever costs have accrued since then.

Is it normal procedure to let you pay the debt before they just lock you up???
