The witness has asked for a complaints form, this isn't the first time this has happened but I have never pursued the matter before because I was brought up to respect the laws of our Country, sadly no more! I have parkinson's disease and the stress of hearing that my son has been beaten up by at least 5 policeman has tipped me over the edge. Who and how do I complain to and is it worth it?

A friend of mine received a telephone call on her cell phone from a detective. She went through all of her paperwork to see if she missed a court date or didn't pay some tickets and found nothing. Well she is really stressing out about this because she hasn't done anything wrong. What should she do at this point, she doesn't want to call and get setup or anything. BTW, the detective never told her the nature of the call nor did he call her back.

The Police believe my daughter and said that they think we deserve our day in court, however the CPS are reluctant to run with it, because they cannot be sure how my daughter would cope in court and whether they would get a conviction or not. So they, in there wisdom think it's best to let him go with a no further action reply, and wait until he slips up and does it again. Marvellous isn't it, especially as he's remarried with two step-daughters and another biological daughter he sees regularly. No wonder people are reluctant to go to the police and divulge these crimes. The criminals are more looked after than the victims, and the police seem as frustrated with the CPS as the victims. Police I have spoken to have said that in there opinion, the CPS have no backbone to take cases on unless there's a 98% chance of success. The CPS shouldn't be allowed to play judge and jury. They are more or less calling the british public morons, who cannot decide whether someone is guilty or not.

My mother says if I went on a shooting spree and killed many people (like at school) the cops would shoot me instead of arresting me. Would they still shoot a beautiful or gorgeous girl if she did the same thing? I heard beautiful girls are treated better- I hope that's not true.

I called to talk my brother over the phone tonight and i asked him about the party he went to . He told me that the mother of the kid who was throwing the party not only went out and brought beer back to the house, but that she also gave it to minors. I found this to be very disturbing. If i called the police to report them could they do something about it or would they have to catch her in the act. I am afraid that one day a child is going to have too much to drink and than want to go out driving afterwards.

The older lady across the street is bipolar. About twice a week she calles 911. Than here comes the police, EMTS and a fire truck. They come and are gone within mins. You would think by now they would know that she is calling just for them to come over. maybe she is lonley. Do the police have to keep coming over even though she is calling for no reason? and is it not illegal to call 911 if there is no emergency? thanks!

There's this really fugley old man that lives next door and he called the police on me and my familia. Okay so he says that his speakers are missing from his garage and he thinks that me or a member of my family stole them. *Scoff*

I'm so offended. Where does he get the nerve to go around accusing people of such things?? So anyways the policeman along with the old fogey come pounding on my door. The officer asks, "Hi how are you doing today" I reply, "fine".

Then he says, "do you know anything about this mans speakers? He reported to us tonight that they went missing yesterday" and I say "well, you know what, I have no idea where his speakers went off to, as I have no access what so ever to his garage". After that he takes down my personal information as well as the rest of my family. I know that he accused me of taking his speakers because the same day he confronted me about it.

" There is no 'nice' way to arrest a potentially dangerous, comnbative suspect. The police are our bodyguards, our hired fist, batons and guns. We pay them to do the dirty work or protecting us, the work we're too afraid, too unskilled or to civilized to do ourselves. We expect them to keep the bad guys out of our businesses, car,and houses, out of our face. We want them to 'take care of the problem' We just don't want to see how it's done.

The detective from my local police department just brought my identity theft case to the state's attorney. Now how long usually does it take for them to make a decision? This decision being if they will issue a warrant for the person's arrest. I live in joliet, IL....not really a BIG...town.

i was interviewed by the police recently and my guilt it seems rested on a question of a date an important detail turning a non important act into a more important one, the other person involved had knowingly lied to the police in their statement to cover there tracks, i asked the question during the interview about the facts but was told that the person in question must have been confused, but this person suffers from OCD and keeps all information of this type in files, he also seemed quite exact about the rest of his information why would the police not investigate the statement of the other, is this 'impartiality' and can i now ask the police to look at the statement of the other as on hear say i now have a caution (it was not that serious an offence) on my otherwise clean criminal record and the other has nothing but satisfaction and in fairness the police know that with this type of lie in another situation peoples lives could be ruined..
thanks

What happened was 2 parents took they're daughter who was 3 months old to daycare center. And somehow he mom had forgot to remind her husband the baby was in the vehicle with them. She was let out at her workplace, and he went on to play tennis, not knowing his baby daughter was even in car! He went on to work and someone had noticed the baby and broke window. But she died because of the heat. They were not even charged with child neglect?? Was this truely an accident in your mind? To me there no excuse for what happened! The father surely had similar routine many times before! The other sad thing was the fact that she was a pediatrician! Very sad story to say the least.
Was justice done here?

My husband left me and is keeping my son from me and staying at his mother's house. We are still married and divorce isn't an option right now due to finances and time. If I just go get him and take him to my new home with me, can I be arrested? We're still married so we both have custody. Is it kidnapping? If the police are called, what would they do in that situation? Please help me before I get myself into alot of trouble trying to get my baby back.

My last crime was 2 years ago but it was pretty serious...forgery.....I went to jail and got probation. I have paid everything back right away. I also have many other crimes all in the past though. Arson, theft, possession with intent to deliver thc 22 grams, all of these crimes were done over 6 years ago. I am a pretty good person even though I have had these problems. I love to help people without personal gain but pride that I did it. I don't brag about what I've done bad or good. I am frustrated that my past is catching up to me. I accept the fact I have hurt people and maybe thats why I like to help people now. I have not found god or anything so that isn't it. I would just like employers to look beyond my crimes and see the great person I am. Normally if I get the interview I get the job. But I can't even get an interview. I am also in a new town now and away from all the trouble with friends I had...No problems here though!! I am getting depressed more and more with every turn.
