" There is no 'nice' way to arrest a potentially dangerous, comnbative suspect. The police are our bodyguards, our hired fist, batons and guns. We pay them to do the dirty work or protecting us, the work we're too afraid, too unskilled or to civilized to do ourselves. We expect them to keep the bad guys out of our businesses, car,and houses, out of our face. We want them to 'take care of the problem' We just don't want to see how it's done.

I disagree. Everyone I come in contact with is "potentially dangerous" but there are ways of dealing with an arrest that also involves respect and dignity. I personally never leave anyone exposed to public view any longer than needed once they are in hand cuffs. I tend to secure them in my vehicle immediatley following the pat down search. I find treating people with respect, even when making an arrest goes a long way towards getting cooperation. As for your first poster, I disagree with you too, Exactly what rights am I taking from these people, the right to abuse controlled substances, or the right to trspass on private property??? Then again, i would not expect anything less from a criminal defense attorney. Oh, and ma'am, i do not discriminate, i arrest all drug addicts the same...

NO
POLICE ARE CHARGED WITH PROTECTING SOCIETY. THERE ARE IN THIS MODERN DAY SOCIETY, NUMEROUS WAYS TO ARREST HOSTILE AND COMBATIVE INDIVIDUALS, THAT IS BETTER THEN THE OLD WAYS OF, FIGHTING, BATONS, WEAPONS. SOMEONE WAS GOING TO THE HOSPITAL ALIVE OR DEAD.
THE TAZER IS ONE SUCH WEAPON. IT ELIMINATES THE FIGHTING, STRUGGLING AND PUTS THE OFFICER IN CONTROL WITH THE LEAST AMOUNT OF FORCE OR RESISTANCE FROM A ONCE COMBATIVE SUSPECT.
A POLICE OFFICER IS A PROFESSIONAL AND TRAINED TO BE ONE. BUT WE ALL ARE SADLY HUMAN AND WE SOMETIMES ARE NOT AS PROFESSIONAL AS WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN A SITUATION.

IT IS EASY FOR SOCIETY TODAY WITH CAMERAS (SINCE RODNEY KING) TO BECOME THE FOCAL POINT OF THE ARREST, THE RIGHT AND WRONG DONE, WITHOUT THE FURTHEST GLIMPSE OF THE ACTUAL EVENT.THE ARM CHAIRED QUARTER BACKS, THE MONDAY MORNING PROFESSIONALS AND HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN OR COULD HAVE BEEN DONE IF THEY WERE THERE.
SOCIETY PRESENTS TO US ONLY THAT 30 SEC TO 2 MIN PHOTO SHOOT. A COURSE OF EVENTS THAT CAN CHANGE A REPORTERS AND A PUBLIC VIEW POINT.

THIS IS WHY IN TODAY'S MODERN POLICE INCIDENTS, WE HAVE TO PROTECT OURSELVES FROM THE SOCIETY, THAT WE ARE SERVING AND PROTECTING, BY RUNNING OUR CAR CAMERA FROM THE INITIAL STOP UNTIL ARREST OR RELEASE IS ACCOMPLISHED.
IT IS A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS, BUT A NECESSARY ONE TO PROTECT THE POLICE FROM THE PUBLIC WHILE THEY PROTECT THE PUBLIC.
SORT OF AN IRONY WOULD YOU NOT SAY?

it always makes me see just how some are ignorant of the law. like the person who said we waste time by arresting junkies.we are paid to enforce all laws.unless a junkie is in possession of drugs they will not be arrested.if they are found with drugs they are arrested and taken to jail.these junkies are the same ones breaking into homes and busibesses. these junkies are the ones stealing from homes and businesses. the junkies are also the same ones robbing and killing to support their habits.for any to act so ignorant as the one who says we are wasting time, then get off the couch, quit whining, and join the force.it is very ovbious the lady making the stuoid statement has no idea what law enforcent entails.all he statements do is make her look like a idiot who bases everything that she sees by what she watches on tv.

i pretty much disagree, first off, there is always a nice and safe way to arrest someone, no matter if that person is armed. We are not bodyguards, we are regular people, trying to earn a decent living, and protecting people and loving our job. We do, do the dirty work, and no, police are not the only one protecting as, there are a lot of good Samaritans who helped us. Its a nice quote, but i totally disagree with him. Hope I helped you with your assignment.

the internal maximum businesses might desire to create a strict handbook for the criminal to stick, including: promptness while exhibiting up for paintings, cleanliness in visual attraction, no jewelry-nostril jewelry, etc, utilising beneficial verbal substitute skills whilst handling shoppers and fellow team, and no cell telephone utilization. As for the duty of the organization; i could advise that the corporate comprehend that an massive style of the juvenile offenders have come from broken properties, low social-financial households, and could be uneducated. they might desire to be prepared to be mentors and not judges. With that reported, in addition they might desire to be diligent in reinforcing their rules for the criminal. in the event that they say 3 strikes you're out than that's what they might desire to stand in the back of. The juvenile is acquainted with all approximately rules and prerequisites. Flexibility might come into play, in the process the situations the juvenile might make errors with unfamiliar initiatives or jobs that require technical be attentive to-how that the guy won't have been uncovered to whilst growing to be up. His/her carry close on the English language won't be proficient, warranting slightly greater education in that section. and finally it would be necessary that the corporate talk with regulation enforcement (Probation /Parole branch) for any conceivable infractions, concerns, or perhaps beneficial comments.

This statement assumes that the people the police are "protecting" us from are dangerous, or criminals. Most of the time, police waste our tax money arresting junkies for trespass to get drug charges. These people aren't hurting anyone but themselves, and jail is not what they need. So, very rarely, cops have to do what the above statement indicates, but it's so rare it's hardly worth mentioning. Day to day cops discriminate and use their power to hurt people and take away their rights.

I could tell you what I think about the statement, but that's not going to help you with your homework. That's something you're going to have to think about and answer for yourself. Good luck!
