Did you know we are the only country left, other that the middle eastern countries that allow there citizens to have guns? Do you think that Americans should lose there right to have guns? Do you think that anyone who was convicted of a felony should lose there right to have a gun? Would you give up your guns and weapons if the troops knocked on the door to take them away?

Okay I guess I confused you guys! Im not saying the 2nd ammendment is to protect them, I was talking about 2 different things. Not putting the two together. Alteast I wasnt trying too!

ima felon, and i think i should be able to carry a gun. I have kids and should be allowed to protect them. None of my felonies involved guns, ive never shot anyone or hurt anyone while committing a crime. and my crimes were in the EARLY 90's!!!! And Switzerland allows their people to have guns. In fact they have the most guns per capita last i heard. i dont have any guns cause its against the law. but if it were legal i'd carry one to defend me and my family with.

Your question is closer to a rant. Convicted felons are not allowed to have weapons. I do not feel that Americans should lose the right to own firearms, and I don't think we have to worry about troops knocking on our doors to take them away. Now, ask a specific question, and I'll give you a better answer.

Hey I would like to know if all the gun owners are in anyway associated with a well-regulated militia, whihc is the reson and method the Constitution allws the guns for to protect against the government or other invaders?
I have stred down a few barrels on the street in my day, and I can be pretty sure the criminals were not associated with a militia, well regulated or not.
But I dunno - maybe they are in the minority and there regular people with guns really are in well regulated militias?

If you're a convicted felon in any state in the US you cannot legally possess a handgun. If you've been convisted of any domestic violence charge...felony OR misdomeanor...you're disqualified from owning or possessing a handgun (in Connecticut).

It is our Constitiutional right to have guns. Maybe our leaders in Washington, DC. should start taking away our rights. Many states take away ones right to bear arms after they are cherged with a felony conviction.

In most cases, felons do lose the right to own a gun. The second amendment wasn't put in so we could protect ourselves from criminals, it was put in so we could protect ourselves from our government. Remember, the American Revolution would not have occured with gun control.

Felons can not possess firearms. It is a felony for them to have one.
Law abiding citizens should not be punished for the actions of criminals.
The middle east does a lot of things (like stoning women for having premarital sex).

Make it easier for good citizens to own guns and protect their livelihood. Make it harder on criminals to own, buy or posess guns !

i would of loved to have had a gun in England when i lived there.Nothing worse than a burglar!
You can't hurt a burglar if you see one in your house in England . They can prosecute or you can get jail time.Don't figure.
