some one wakes up and starts molesting your child (even if you dont know him or her or has not been caught) or shooting innocent people in a high school(even if he kills himself eventually) what about the emotional pain caused. Do atheist liberals really believe in justice or retribution. Hello, am, i making sense.

I went in on a deal with one of my friends and paid most of the required money to create an item he invented. I wrote out the terms of the agreement listing the amount I am owed once the patent is either sold to a buyer or sold with a percentage of the profit each time the item is sold. I received a copy of an agreement form the patent company which have fill in spots to be filled out and signed by the investor and inventer. I retyped the form with all the information regarding our agreement but am not sure if this agreement would be enough if brought to a courtroom. I would like to find out if agreement papers need to be notarized or if I should have an attorney write up an agreement form. Also what other sort of documents should I get if the terms are not kept and I'm not paid per the terms of the agreement?

everyone get together and and go a week without buying anything to try to stop the rising cost of essential items? i mean 5 bucks for a gallon of milk? 3 bucks for a gallon of gas? paying for overpriced lead ridden toys that can harm our children? i think it would be a great idea to boycott all businesses for atleast a week and if everyone got to together and stuck to it it might make a difference

I'm 18 since last October. I heard from one of my friends that I'm supposed to go to the post office and sign up for the draft.

I remember hearing about this being required back in the 70's, but had no idea it still was. I find it so odd that nobody told me about this, (possibly teachers, my school, or even a letter from the government,) and I can barely find any websites saying I need to do so.

If state matters, I live in Indiana. I'm really not sure what to do. Is there somebody I can contact for clarification, or do I just go to the post office and say "sign me up"?

I recently found out my ex was having sex with a 15 year old girl when we broke up about 2 years ago. He was 22 at the time.Obviously this is illegal. but can he still get in trouble for this even though shes older now? And if the police did investigate will they just believe the girl if she claims they never had sex...or will they look into it? (I'm positive the girl will deny it,because she is obsessed with him).

A policeman pulled me over for spinning my car half way around in a deserted parking lot at the place I work. He just gave me a warning. It had just snowed and I was leaving work at 11pm. I was the only person in a HUGE empty parking lot.

My boyfriend is on housearrest and has been paying his fees through the mail with money orders. But the person he reports to has been sending someone else to his house to collect the money personaly and they have been telling him that they want cash payments instead. He said no because the county gave him no papers saying that payments should be made in cash. This person still insists on cash payments but has yet to bring papers from our county saying that the payments should be cash. They still take the money orders but they have tried to get him to leave the money orders blank instead of writing them out the county. This person says the reason the payments should be made in cash is because they can write thier own recipets. I think that this person is full of it. They are too insistant on cash for my liking and whats to stop them from pocketing the money and turning around saying that it was never paid? Is this the right kind of behavior for a worker of the county?

Williams-Sonoma just sent my order to the wrong address. When I called them to let them know and hopefully obtain the items in my order they left me on the phone for over an hour and a half and then they told me after that if I want to obtain the order I placed a week ago I will have to call stores around the country to obtain the items myself! So much for customer service!

The customer service manager came on the phone with a condescending attitude that she really didn't give a *** about the fact that they didn't deliver. She was mostly bent on making sure that I knew she was better than me (by the way I rather doubt on her salary she could clean my house) and my order was the least of her concerns. So all I can say is this attitude comes from the top. They have nothing but contempt for their customers. I'm just letting people know that they are NOT CUSTOMER friendly even though with the prices they charge they should at least be better than KMART they are not!!!!!!!!! They have the audacity to sue Target and Kohls for copyright infringement, at least they deliver!!! Maybe if they focused more on delivering what they sold, sales might be better !!!!!! I'm, sorry but I felt like I was treated rather badly and I want it out there!

With all this, how do they stay open? Their products are sold other places and cheaper and with such poor customer service they must have morons for customers! Granted, I was one until today!

Btw, if you dont know what plea is, its where you agree to either say you did the crime, avioding court, and you get a couple years off (up to) or you tstify against someone else. Usually they did the crime with you.

All the help is appreciated.

Since 1980, a treaty between the United States and Mexico has permitted either country to refuse to extradite citizens in the absence of assurances that the death penalty will not be imposed. Until two years ago, American prosecutors frequently agreed not to seek the death penalty in order to have fugitives returned to their jurisdictions. In October 2001, the Mexican Supreme Court ruled that life imprisonment violates the country's constitution, and Mexico now interprets its treaty obligations in light of that decision. It is no longer sufficient for a prosecutor to waive the death penalty; now assurances of a determinate sentence must be given. Currently, prosecutors must try to win extradition by charging a fugitive with a lesser offense that doesn't match the seriousness of the crime. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1282/is_2_56/ai_n13628975 http://feinstein.senate.gov/03Releases/r-extradition.htm http://feinstein.senate.gov/03Releases/r-extraditionresolution2.htm

When one is sexually harassed in a NYC work place by the Chairman & CEO of a company, puts an end to it which leads to hostile behavior from the head of this company, then finds out the taxes from her wages were never filed with the city, state or federal but was paid as if they were deducted. After reporting all of this to the HR department she is fired with the excuse that her position has been eleminated. I believe it's wrongful termination due to retaliation.
I'm sure she needs a lawyer but how does she find one that would be willing to take on the case and deduct his salary afterwards? And in the meantime what does she do about collecting unemployment if she doesn't have paystubs but just wire transfers on her monthly bank statements and the proof of income based on an offer letter. Where does she begin ASAP?
