She has medial and they take medial there. She was transfered to another local hospital. She is very thing (anorexic looking) but its not. That is her natural body weight. It seems that the hospital want to look good in their mortality scores and they refuse to take chances. Is that legal?

Both are religious based laws, neither really make much sense, yet one is accepted (here in the US and the other is considered 'barbaric')

My son is 17 years and being charged as an adult for tampering in the state of Missouri. The judge has refused to give him an attorney even though my son has told him that he can not afford one. According to meranda rights you have a right to an attorney...if you cannot afford one , one will be appointed to you. How is the judge denying him an attorney? My son does not have a job because he is staying at the hospital with his newborn baby that is nicu. The judge has told him that he has 15 days to get an attorney or he will provoke his bail and lock him back up. How is the judge denying him an attorney? Is he working with some loophole?

two questions.

ive called the news about my school reporting a problem with rats and another issue too long to explain. well i gave then ews my name when they asked me and i didnt know they would tell the school my first and last name, i got called down to the office twice for both reports and they said if i call the news again to report something at the school i will get suspended =( can they do that? just for me calling then ews so word gets out and the school fixes the issue?

and during lunch i was on my sidekick 3 (not it was LUNCH! i know school is not for socializing and its for learning and im on the A honor roll but during lunch i chat on my sidekick) and the principal caught me so when i handed him my cell i put the phone on lock so you hav to put a 3 letter code to access my phone. i got sent to the office during 3rd period n they told me to give them my unlock code so they can get into my cell! if i dont they said they will not give back my $300 phone. can they do this

WTF?! I was just watching this prison show on tv and they showed a guy who had to cut the front off of his earring off. The part that holds the stone. That doesn't make any sense to me. I understand that they are prisoners, but for crying out loud! Why destroy a perfectly good earring when you can simply take it out like you are supposed to??? Can someone please make me understand cause right now I view this as absolutely unnecessary and absurd.

i just went to a defensive driving class. the teacher was telling us a story about how he was involved in two different accidents. the other guys insurance took care of on accident. and the other guy had no insurance so he took him to court. well the guy didnt pay him so he put a lein on the person that way when that person wanted to buy a car, house or apply for a credit card he wouldnt be able to because he has a lein. can yoou really put a lein on a person. i know you can put a lein on property but a person?

a friend was accuse of child abuse and now it is on a report it never was in the court system but trying to find job with day care and because they see child abuse they dont look at unfounded it is just a police report nothing else what can be done if anything

A certain retail store on Black Friday ran a paper advertisement stating that you would receive a "free" item (originally worth $x) with the purchase of another item for $xx. The ad stipulated that it would only last "while supplies lasted".

I arrived at the store at opening and was the first one to purchase the item in question. I received the item, but was told that there were no more of the "free" item, which should have been impossible since i purchased the first one.

They said that other people had purchased the item earlier in the week and gotten free cases; however, that still doesnt explain how something that's being advertised for "FRIDAY/SATURDAY only" was not in stock on the first day of the purported sale.

They agreed to give me one of the free items when they came back in stock, but when I returned later next week, they no longer wanted to abide by the original verbal agreement.

So - are they guilty of false advertisement? or just shady practices?

I am a 17 year old who lives in Southern California and I have a job, which requires me to work late nights. I work at restaurant and bar. I have to park my car in an underground parking lot and I have been hassled and threatened by drunks and aggressive homeless people. I wanted to buy a CO2 powered BB gun or pellet gun but was wondering if it is legal for me to carry this gun in my car's glove box. I know you must be 18 yrs to purchase an air gun but I have checked it out with my parents and they fully support me in this. I just need to know if I get pulled over or have to use it if this would restrict my chances of buying a firearm in the future or if this would require a jail sentence.

I usually mail out my claim form on Monday and receive the check on Saturday. I just called the automated system and they said they paid out on the 29th but haven't received anything yet.. I was just wondering if they've already issued the check then that means it's on it's way to me? Or can they issue the check and hold it for some reason? Thanks for your response!

Im getting ready to go to court for custody of my daughters. I feel as If I need Legal representation while there. Unfortunatley I am low income and unable to hire a laywer from the bar association. I just recieved a letter in the mail that says this "OFFICIAL BUISINESS--JURY SUMMONS" thats on the cover then inside theres a form that says JUROR QUALIFICATION FORM. he and his x girl friend lived together for the 1st 5 years of his daughters life, he pays child support and carries her on his medical insurance. in the state of ohio a father has no parental rights, as far as we know, untill appointed by a judge. we are wondering if there is a way for him to get the right to see his daughter with out having to hire a lawyer?

i live in oklahoma and right now our state government has passed a law that any and all illegal immigrants(mainly targeting mexican immigrants)will be taken from their homes and deported because they are illegal. in some ways i can see there point but i think it is wrong because everyone in america got here because of an immigrant not themselves and i think they still have rights as human beings to at least be able to gain citizenship. half of the things they make immigrants learn is stuff we don't even know but i think this is so wrong because even though these people are illegal it is becoming more of a discrimination issue here than helping our state.
