How do i go about obtaining legal guardianship of my nephew who resides in another country and how long does the whole process take.. what are the costs

That depends on the country your nephew is in and the reason why he is not with his parents. Are there other relatives in the same country as your nephew? Chances are they will be given custody of the boy.

The best way to handle this is to contact your nation's embassy in that country and ask them to recommend a lawyer that specializes in these cases. That lawyer would be one to ask.
