I'm referring to computer health and safety e.g. things like anti-glare filter, foot rest, wrist rest etc

Can I demand these or do I have to provide them myself. I'm in Scotland BTW.

you know what, just buy yourself a foot stool. they're a few bucks at the crap stores or a buck at the dollar store. I used to buy all my own stuff. It's my own comfort! Yeah you can go and complain and complain and complain, then when everyone but you gets promoted and a raise you can come back on yahoo and complain and complain and complain!

Asking nicely will go further than demanding. Unless you have some sort of disability which requires accomodation, there is no legal right to those things.

In the US anyway, I would say you could request if not expect those things. Not sure if Scotland is as modern (no offense, my ancestors are from there)!

You can request but never demand.

Demands MAY get you these things - but...
buy them yourself and use them. None are expensive.
